Some Meatball Heads are getting just a wee bit defensive here 😜

Likewise it is hilarious how all it took was a political prospect under 50 and all the liberals are promoting danger to democracy trump,   😂

hopefully someday real leadership will come from somewhere.

In the mean time… I guess delusional corrupt 80 year olds are what the people want..  Joe was just talking about what a great job Nancy did during the Great Depression…. And orange man just got indicted 7 more times.

THIS IS KIND OF A BIG DEAL:

SpaceX launches 52 Starlink satellites, lands rocket on ship at sea.

With last night’s flight, Falcon 9 has now doubled the record for consecutive launches — 100 each — held by second-place finishers, Delta II and Soyuz-U.

200 successful launches in a row is nothing to sneeze at. Getting them done in under seven years and at an accelerating pace is incredible.

Musk said prior to the launch of Starship that there was a 50% chance it would fail.  But they're right back to launching satellites and the next Starship launch will succeed.  Meanwhile his purchase of Twitter was great.

He’s in the Money: Elon Musk Reclaims Mantle of World’s Richest Person

by Simon Kent

Tesla CEO Elon Musk wound up his visit to China on Thursday to be greeted by the news he has reclaimed the top spot as the world’s richest person.

Bloomberg Billionaires Index released its daily rankings of the world’s 500 richest people just hours before Musk stepped into his private jet in Beijing to fly home to Texas. Musk’s first trip to China in three years came amid increased competition in the market for electric vehicles and rumors about Tesla’s future ambitions in the nation

He's nothing of the sort.  Just because you may not agree with his politics (he was a Dem), it doesn't make him an idiot.

I used to be a huge Musk skeptic.  Then I saw SpaceX land that used rocket back on a platform in the sea.  Made me buy a Tesla and make a pile on Tesla stock.  Now I think he's playing 5D chess with seemingly idiotic moves...

Our world is such that Biden (or Trump if you prefer)  is a president and leader of the free world, but Musk an idiot. 🤫

"Free speech absolutist" not quite so absolute as advertised:

https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/29/tech/elon-musk-twitter-government-takedown/index.html

Musk's Twitter is much more likely to grant a government's takedown request than Jack Dorsey's Twitter was.

I understand Musk's objection: is it better that Twitter grant a foreign government's (or dictator's) takedown request, or have Twitter blocked entirely in that country? But still: an awkward position to be in for a self-appointed free speech absolutist.

It's behind a paywall on financial times, but Musk just signed a pledge agreeing with China's socialist values.

Thank God he's just agreeing to the CPC socialist pledge and not hiring Dylan Mulvaney as a Tesla test driver. If he did that we'd have to boycott him.

I've given up using irony on this forum.

Watching Mr. Radical Free Speech drop on his knees and smile like a doughnut for the CCP though. That's almost too much.

Maybe I will join Twitter, and post radical opinions like "Taiwan should be free and independent" or "The CCP is trying to eradicate the Uighurs".

I'm quite sure Elon will allow you to post that. Elon will just work with the CCP to make sure no on in CHINA can read that. Oh, and perhaps help them to track down whether you are a Chinese student in America posting treasonous opinions.

Other than that, he's an absolutist!
