Von Miller ACL- Out for Season

On one hand this was somewhat expected, but there's no sugar coating the situation and this is basically now the same defense that was unable to stop the Chiefs and Mahomes in the playoffs last year. Sure having White back will help but not being able to generate a consistent pass rush will likely haunt this team once again when it matters most against the AFC's best.

Also I've been very critical of Beane, but this isn't his fault. He swung for the fences and it paid dividends early but now this compounds the salary cap hell this team is facing next offseason. Best course of action would be to find a way out of this deal that minimizes the cap impact going forward.

Sorry that I didn't send you a marked calendar, instead of making a generic statement.

I'll have to consider my audience more carefully, for the wannabe MENSA's out there...

No.. you are right.. he should have had the surgery at half time of the game...so he could be back 12 days sooner

age. Age is the factor and that contract.

You're acting like he's old and out of shape now.  He's 33 which is still young.  Yes, older for football but doesn't mean all of a sudden he's too old to heal.

Not everyone is Tre White in recovery time.  White has been practicing for weeks so it wasn't the ACL keeping him out.

Was wondering the same.  Said he was in Dallas to have the surgery.  Wondering if it was through the team or of Von's own accord.  Have to wonder if it wasnt a full tear and he had the surgery anyways.

Cowgirls fan doctor hatin on us??? Tore his ACL during the surgery??? 🤔

Just out of curiosity, could a doc screw up surgery and cause a partial tear?

Anything is possible once you arm a guy with a scalpel and tell him to go to work on an unconscious person.  I can't imagine this happens too frequently, if at all.  But if it does, I would hope it's mostly to Phins and Pats players.

Thats fine but your comment was taken as the worst out of all teams especially when you doubled down. If you just meant a generic "we have the worst luck" then I get it, no big deal.

Yes I meant it as a generic worst.  Like bad for us.  I didnt mean it comparitively to the league.

No need to cry. Every team and I mean EVERY team deals with injuries and backbreaking season enders too.

Heck, look at the Niners. They lost TWO starting QB's to season ending injuries and they still consider themselves a favorite to reach the SB.

The Bills opponent this week lost their two best offensive players for the season and do you hear them crying about it? No.

I didn't hear anyone say that #17 went down to a season ending injury. Did you? As long as he is in there (minus November swoons 😂), the Bills will always be a SB favorite.
