I’m not saying Hodgins is a star WR, but in the context of the talent we have on our roster we were 1 injury away from an alternative of bringing in a guy off the street who hasn’t played since 2020 or signing Tanner Gentry to the active roster. They put time and patience into this guy and then exposed him, knowing full well he’d be on other teams radar. Huge Beane fan but he should have never waived Hodgins after the 2nd callup. Crowder was on IR and Kumerow had ankle injuries. Been living with 4 WR since. I bet Brandon wishes he could take that back. Hodgins will never be a #1 or even a full time #2WR but he has NFL worth.
