These next 3 weeks are going to shape the road for all 3 of the Bills, Dolphins, and Chiefs.
The Bills have 3 AFC East opponents in a row, The Dolphins have 3 straight road games against 3 tough opponents including the Bills, and the Chiefs have two straight road games against a Bengals team that beat them and a top notch Broncos defense on the road. Can the Broncos score enough.

Bills schedule:

@Patriots

Jets

Dolphins

@Chicago

@ Cinci

Dolphins:

@SF

@LA Chargers

@ Buffalo

Green Bay

Chiefs

@ Bengals

@ Broncos

Texans

Seattle

I would throw the Bengals in the mix as they are a team to watch closely down the stretch with everything in front of them for both the AFCN and #1 seed with key games left against the Bills, Chiefs and Ravens all at home.

They've been fairly consistent after an 0-2 start and also have battled some key injuries yet have managed to go 7-2 in their last 9.

It's almost weird how little attention they are getting from the national media as the defending AFC champions that came within a few minutes of winning the SB last year.

Don't forget about the dreaded NY Jets. They aren't going away.

We've seen what Mike White can do against us before, if we can stop them from running we should be able to beat the Jets.

I could definitely see the Chiefs losing to the Bengals. It would be a big upset for the Raiders or Seahawks to beat them.

Raiders yes but Seattle hmm as they have a good running game and possible OROY and Geno has been solid all season. The question would be how good their D would be against Mahomes.

Although obtaining the overall 1 seed in the AFC is desirable and certainly would give the Bills the edge, most importantly the Bills need to get healthy and enter the playoffs at their peak performance level. They were the consensus SB favorite before the season and up until injuries hit them really hard they were "the team to beat". Their secondary was decimated and at times they were starting rookie cornerbacks and doing so without one of their pro bowl safeties. They played games without their other pro bowl safety too. Their offensive line has been playing some backups and the last few games Josh Allen, even with gutsy performances, has had trouble throwing the short passes and the offense has not been playing their usual game. The Bill's defense is actually somewhat dependent upon their offense getting a decent lead and allowing them to shut down their opponents when they become one dimensional. Early on in the season we statistically had the best defense but it is my opinion that the Bill's offense allowed them to do what they do best in order to attain that ranking. Look back to the Packer's game. We had a pretty big lead at halftime and I'm willing to bet that most Bill's fans were stunned when the Pack didn't air it out and continued running the ball. It looked like all they were doing was shortening the game and running out the clock for our benefit. In retrospect, I think they knew that they weren't going to win the game with only the pass and hoped that they could get the game close and we might make a mistake or two. Anyway, we won the game but it was closer than it should have been mainly because our offense only scored 3 points in the 2nd half.

Interesting stat on 13 win seasons.  It has only been done 52 times in this history of the NFL and we've done it 3 times.

For a long time the regular seasons consisted of 14 games. Unfortunately that makes comparing the statistics more difficult. On the other hand all the teams played under those parameters. One would expect with the new 17 game seasons (and probable 18 games in the near future) that 52 number will grow rapidly.
