Is this the off season thread? You’re posting this MID SEASON??? Very bizarre.

There’s a reason WGR thrives amongst most smooth brain bills fans. Easily distracted when you think of the team during your better days.

Why are you flaming me? Was supposed to be a fun thread and nothing wrong with posting about our former players' nephew winning a football trophy. Chad entered the game in the 4th quarter, made an Allen like scramble that set them up for the winning TD, thought it would be cool to share. ☮️

What did all of the other players do?  Just stand on sideline and clap.

Why the snark? Feel better now?

Yeah CFL = Canadian Football League

Similar but not identical rules; 12 men instead of 11, 3 downs instead of 4, guys moving toward the LOS at the snap, played on a larger field.

IIRC you also have to have a giant crush on Celine Dion to even be considered for a roster spot.

You left out his time in Indianapolis when he got waived after Luck retired.  Indy was desperate for a QB and didn't think much of his alleged "NFL arm"  A year later they even waived him off their practice squad & nobody picked him up.  Many a bust QB has played good in college.  Some like Josh Rosen were  top 10 picks.  Kelly was Mr. Irrelevant and has lived up to that billing.

And I’m pretty sure he only ended up in Indy because Jim Kelly called Frank Reich.

After Chad Kelly was cut by Denver he worked with Jim. Then iirc Jim reportedly called Frank Reich and got Chad a tryout spot during their rookie mini camp.

Getting drafted by Denver was also due to a call from Jim Kelly to John Elway.

I honestly didnt even realize the CFL existed that long wow.

The Grey Cup has been played for since 1909. The CFL has only been around since 1958. The Grey Cup is like the Stanley Cup in that the trophy is older than the league that plays for it.

I don't believe it.  I think that was a rugby version of the game?
