Offense was playing like ***** at that time. Diggs wasn’t involved or even targeted.

he was frustrated, he talked to the coach instead of throwing a tantrum.

it was a thing that happened. Probably significant that it calmed Diggs down and got him a TD.

non-issue.

Agreed. I'm even surprised there is a thread for this ha ha. The offense had zero first downs for a long while and Diggs zero targets at  that point.

How would anyone here know that answer?

WE CAN'T KNOW THAT ANSWER

Are you crazy? This board is full of journalists, coaches, Drs., trainers, political scientists, mind readers and ex players!! Of course WE know the answer, much like WE know Tre is sand bagging the team.

I was, and I noticed right before the play where he caught the touchdown (when teams were switching personnel), our WR coach was gesticulating wildly for him to get on the field.  😂

When does our WR coach not gesticulate wildly.

Not a thing. He wasn’t flipping out and it was an incredibly peaceful conversation. And then he caught a TD almost immediately after

Better yet Josh didn't force the ball to him on the first play after the conversation like Lofton suggested.  Josh kept taking what defense was giving.

The assumption being made, is that Diggs was complaining, because he hadn't seen the ball at all up till then.

It's probably true, but he's also one of the team captains on offense, so it could even have been related to the overall offense.

It also looked like a very sensible and mature dialogue, between McDermott and Diggs, with neither being upset by anything the other said.

The offense and the play calling was absolutely putrid at that point, and our best weapon hadnt seen a single ball thrown his way.

Makes total sense.

Diggs has proven before that as long as we are winning, he doesnt care about targets. But when we are playing that poorly and he is being ignored, it seems like a quick and easy fix for a sputtering offense.

Good for Stefon. I hope he told McD to get a handle on his OC before he loses the entire team.

Shouldn’t he be? He’s a top 3 WR and wasnt targeted to that point and the O was a disaster

Disagree.

The only way one can have an intelligent comment on Diggs targets is to view the All 22 AND know the play that was called.

Maybe he wasn’t targeted because the primary receiver on the play was open and thrown to.

Maybe he wasn’t targeted because he wasn’t open.

Think it through.

So your assumption is that Diggs was never the primary read, and/or if he was, he was never open?  No chance in hell
