Allen said he worked this offseason on leading his receivers better and letting them make plays.

I can't help, but feel like his timing and floating so many passes has something to do with him taking so much off his passes. It's like he is still searching for that sweet spot between throwing it on a rope or dropping it in an area that his receiver can make a play on it.

I think he has to stop overthinking it and just focus on the sound mechanics and success will follow. Some QBs throw the ball pretty hard and their organizations just made it a priority to find receivers who could handle the heater. He was getting better at leading his receivers on the short stuff last year and I am sure he just needs to get back to his comfort zone and what he was doing well.

It's a theory.

It’s the right move. An offense like this should have more than a 50% shot to score 2.

I don't fault the move. I almost always like taking the points until the game is almost over. However, going for 2 made sense and wasn't a poor decision.
