And it’s only November.  December and January should be fun!

Well...could be, could not be. There are times we get huge early snowfalls and then don't see much the rest of the season. It's unlikely tho.

Besides we need to defend our National Golden Snow Globe title. Eked out the win over Anchorage last year for our 2nd title in 3 years.

OP likely destroyed the all time NYS snowfall record for a 24 hour period of 50 inches set in Camden in 1966. Still unofficial, but they measured 59 inches in OP.

As a native of WNY, there was ZERO doubt that all of the Bills would be helped by neighbors, if needed, to get to the stadium.

ZERO.  Neighbors helping neighbors (and Bills players!) in a snow storm and Buffalo go together like salt and pepper.

Don’t miss it.  Do you live in the area still?

Pretty much...watched the dude across the street go snowblow out 3 elderly neighbors and get some fresh baked cookies for his efforts...not a bad trade haha...

So jealous of his snowblower...he has one of those giant ones they use at the airport with the 3 sided plastic hood you stand inside of.

How are the people claiming we were only getting a foot or two earlier feeling right about now? 🤣

It was pretty obvious from the NWS way early watch issued, the very strong wording used in it and conditions that were expected to be very similar to 2014 this was not going to be some run of the mill storm.

1-2 feet of lake effect snow. Get your shovels ready.

Edit: Based on some comments from others below, looks like this could end up being a monster storm.

This is just a rumor with exaggerated snow depth

Should I be concerned about how many fans seemingly know the home address of allot of our players?

I'm guessing it's hard to keep that a secret these days. One neighbor recognizes you and the next day it's all over social media.

I'm assuming it's their direct neighbors helping them for the most part.

It's kind of hard to miss Spencer Brown living next door....

Think it's bad here?

A Buffalo sized city in Japan called Aomori City gets an average of 312 inches of snow a year due to "ocean effect" snow and the mountains creating more lift which then dumps it once it crosses them. To put this in perspective, it's about 3.5 times what Buffalo gets a year.

Another city there, Saporro, Japan has a population of over 2 million and gets 191 inches a year on average...about double what Buffalo does. Same reason, "ocean effect" snow...snow depth there last February was over 52 inches!

Crazy to think as bad as it is here, it could be a lot worse.

It's a monster sized snowblower and has a giant plastic hood that extends around your body and over your head that's only open in the back. Prevents you from getting snow blown in your face and/or wind from hitting your face.

I know what you were talking about but have you ever seen what the airport uses? They can clean a runway in one pass.
