I promise you we will be getting more than that.  "Snowvember" started out as 12-18" forecast and ended with over 7 feet in some places.  A watch issued this early in the week is Bad News Bears and whenever you hear "significant", "long duration event" and "multiple periods of heavy snow"  all being bandied about we are about to be f**ked.  Ironically November has huge potential for big snow events because the lake is relatively warmer and when colder air blows over it, it tends to pick up more moisture.

There will be complaints that if we had a dome it would not be an issue.

Last big snowstorm was moved to Detroit. Even if there was a magic dome over stadium it would not help since roads were impassible and parking lots filled with snow.

Bills games in Detroit sell well. Maybe they should move Bills games in 2nd half of year to Detroit?

Ehh...Northtowns and into Niagara County have the best of it...they only get 40-60 inches on average.  Buffalo itself gets almost 100 inches and is the snowiest city in the US. Have also won the National Golden SnowGlobe 2 of the last 3 years for most snowfall which includes all cities over 100K population(including Alaska).

But yes, in general the Southtowns gets more snow.

However, the snow isn't the worst of it. the worst are the endless cloudy days where you may not see the sun for 2+ weeks at a time and routinely go 7-10 days without seeing it. That and the wind which is brutal, especially as you get closer to the lake...they have lines strung up downtown for people to hold onto when crossing the street for a reason...

Thanks but I thought we were just talking about the Browns game on Sunday.

Mmmhmmm...just wait.

The initial forecast for Snovember was 12-18 inches.

How did that turn out?
