Wtf is this team doing at halftime??

I think the offense gets complacent when they go into the locker room with the lead. The defense melts down because Frazier becomes even more conservative. The talk is all about coaching and Allen, but the lack of an aggressive defense scheme really holds this team back at the worst possible moments. I don’t think Allen will be the reason we don’t win a title, it’d be this defense playing afraid in the playoffs.

Allen Refuses easy yards in check downs

Coaching Refuses to stick with the run

This team is a hot mess

On the flip side , our D was missing 5 starters, 3 All Pro DBs and our last 2 1st rd picks

That's why you don't blitz as much. You ask too much of backup DBs

I think Dorsey is getting out coached in the 2nd halves. The offense has not been responding well to opponents defensive halftime adjustments.

Plus Allen can’t to stay patient. No need to score a td from the 20, with 1:30 left.  Poor playcalling before ,with no commitment to sticking to successful run game they had.   Allen plus rookie Dorsey have to change, but Mcd has to get across to dorsey they have to run more.  It’s what they have missed for 3-4 years and they can’t finish or hold leads this way.  When you throw 30 plus times , it’s a set up for ints.  Results speak as Allen leads the league in ints.   This team refuses to learn from history. .  Daboll is 7-2 as a rookie head coach as he has adapted with running.  SB teams have a dependable run game, watch the remainder of the year.  And they don’t play terrible situational football repeatedly.   You are right about dorsey.   Mcd has to help him adapt.and they have to score after half time!  It’s incredible.

Agree as well as Allen putting everything on his shoulders ( trust the other guys). It's ok to check down and work all the way down the field including RedZone for TD.

It is a good question we used to be a very good second-half team

Remember in 2020, the pattern was great first half, disappearing act in the 3rd, and a comeback in the 4th. Then last year, they seemed to solve that 3rd quarter issue but sometimes started really slow. This second half issue has only appeared since the bye week. So there really is no pattern to this. What is a pattern is that this team seems to come out of the bye week really flat.
