As someone with a history degree and big on local history those are absolutely wives tales

There are Indian burial grounds in Buffalo but they are for the most part marked and absolutely not at the Ralph site

Apart from the Parker Atlas that describes a settlement and cemetery at that location, yeah total old wives tale.

He had a bit of education and interest in local history as well.

Not calling anyone a liar, but how can a partial tear not get any worse?  Can’t a partial tear turn into a full tear?

If I’m not mistaken - sprained ligaments depending on severity - aren’t those slight tears?

Folks also stop with the baseball comparisons.  The UCL is totally different in relation to throwing a football vs a baseball

The Sheldon family cemetery is the only recorded cemetery in stadium grounds… And they weren’t Native Americans

Sure The entire area is ancient Native American land.. Of course it was the site of a settlement

The stadium is not on a cemetery… They would’ve dug up Tons of artifacts

Native Americans have never said it was the site of a sacred burial ground, Which there are some all over western New York

So you don't know what I'm talking about then.

No I know exactly what you’re talking about

the Wenro site

And it’s all speculation About the cemetery site… It says sue kulp , Buffalo historian is skeptical

But they would’ve found tons of artifacts when they dug it up when they were building the stadium… And they would’ve had to go through a ton of protocols

Finding the farm would lead to the cemetery… But it doesn’t look like it’s actually where the stadium is

There’s a cemetery in the area… That doesn’t mean Ralph Wilson stadium is built on it… The area is acres

There have been pitchers that have continued to throw after ucl sprains/small tears. Tanaka kept going with seemingly no issue. Dinelson Lamet has not been the same since his injury and has not had it repaired. Degrom allowed his to heal in the off-season and was throwing as hard as ever.

It seems to be hit or miss and is likely a pain management situation as mentioned previously. Its not great but could be worse, thankfully he doesn't have to throw with max effort 100+ times per game.

Hopefully Josh stays away from the breaking balls and sticks with the fastball these next few weeks.  I don't know if hes tipping his passes but opposing defenses have been sitting on the offspeed balls thrown directly to them up in the redzone.  Its like they know whats coming in advance.

The latter would be incorrect.    Times were much different 50 years ago and they likely wouldn't have stopped excavation if they found some old bone fragments and deliberately shaped stone tools or whatever.    Don't ask don't tell.   Beside that the ground was long farmed by non-natives before that and any burial site was probably plowed up and sorted out with the stones long prior.

There isn't any curse on the Bills but there are a lot of people who like to feel sorry for themselves......and franchises that never win a title.....like the Bills haven't..........are magnetic to sad-sacks like that.

Yeah I think he might have sprained an optic nerve during the bye week.

even with your first point ….That’s kind of even more my point

The bills absolutely were not the first ones to disturb anything… And it’s not even a fact that the stadium is on the grounds

If curses were real they’d be like 19th in line to the throne

It's unlikely because the UCL is not really used much in throwing a football, he would have to be hit the same way again in the same area

Different sports, different throwing motions. Partial also covers a very wide range of damage, from very little to significant, it's not a one size fits all type diagnosis.

Want to believe this, but... on the pass before the 70-yard bomb, it sure seemed like whatever he was dealing with had clearly impacted the throw.

How about the last pass you saw him throw?  One of the best throws of the year by any qb.

this is true. The injury is what’s hanging in the balance right now.

It probably goes a little deeper than that, although it IS fair to say that the 2 losses came in the 2 games most egregiously impacted by injuries.

Maybe Allen's issues the last 3 quarters are in fact partially injury-related? He's displayed obvious issues with throws to his right, especially when moving to his right...such throws often involve poor/limited mechanics, relying primarily on the elbow-to-wrist action. Didn't Allen hit his hand on a defender a couple games ago, and now he's experienced a UCL/elbow injury? Both times we saw him react emphatically on the field. So maybe he's dinged enough that a combination of sped-up/incomplete mechanics AND diminished lower right arm strength/stability has resulted in skipped and off-target throws to the right half of the field?

Its a shame it went threw the arms of <50% catch guy.  That pass would have been highlighted for years.

Agree that Davis has been disappointing the last two games, most notably with his inability to bring in contested passes. But we also saw stretches last year, like right now, where he seems to just not be on the same page as his quarterback. We've seen what happens when Allen has, and does not have, that 2nd outside weapon.
