Milano would have made a big difference out there.

I don't know that Josh even saw that guy on the first pick.  Maybe the green pants blended with the turf....he just didn't see the guy.

That was pass interference.  Should have been lining up a tying field goal and headed to OT.

Even if they didn't call holding on Diggs' catch, they probably would've overturned the catch.  His toes were in went he went up, but they were out when he came down.

I'd rather play poorly and lose that play great and lose.  Today we didn't have it.

Don't give up on this team.

Four of the five best players on our defense were not in the field today. And we still held them to 20 points.

Josh's last four interceptions have all been terrible. Just awful decisions.

That was as clear of a pass interference call as I've ever seen. It was like the refs were ready to be done with the game and just gave up paying attention.

With all that being said, we still should have won today.

Not worried, they are simply too talented. Just irritated they seem to not be able to play their best as the season wears on unless they have someone breathing down their neck or are playing from behind.

Von has helped but maybe not enough. Less joking around during the week and more executing.

I thought Von was invisible in this game, save for a good play or 2.

I watch him a lot.  He doesn't even play defense; he is just a pass rush specialist.

He tries his move, it fails 99% of the time (like everyone else's) and he is ridden out of the play and by then the ball is gone.  He then jogs at 1/4 speed toward the ball but almost never actually re-enters the play.

That's what he's basically doing, when he's actually on the field.  A lot of the time he is not.

Then suddenly he blows up a DE and gets a dramatic sack (none today) and the announcer says "Wow he's dominating out there!"

On WGR they are saying he dropped it

Eh.  It was a catch that a top WR in the NFL makes - a DeAndre Hopkins/OBJ type.

But I don't think it would be scored as a drop by anyone rational.  The DB was draped all over him, Gabe was hand-fighting him to the OPI point, DB had one of his arms probably before the ball got there and Gabe couldn't haul it in but I wouldn't call it a drop.  The Zebras could have probably flagged DPI there, but then if Gabe had made it they would have had a legit case for OPI as well.

The Zebras were letting that kind of thing play out all game.

Detroit has the worst D in football. They held the Packers to 106 yds on the ground today (and picked Rodgers 3 times). The Bills issues vs the run the last two games are a major concern.

Today bothered me.

Last week? Whatever. If you are up multiple scores against an Aaron Rodgers team and not playing the pass you may want to seek a new defensive coordinator.

Exactly, when he went out, they ran right at us and gashed us.

Rousseau plays outside. If they are running between the tackles, Rousseau isn't even hardly involved in plays like that unless he is chasing and makes the tackle downfield.

I guess you missed the part where I said Rousseau had 1 tackle today.  It's not like he was blowing up the run while he was in there.

He dropped it, hit him in the freakin hands and Sauce was not close enough to stop it. Almost any NFL caliber receiver makes that catch.

Im glad I turned it off. Didn’t break anything in anger, just turned off the tv. Then I grabbed a few 2x IPA’s and said ‘we’re on to Minnesota’ 🤣

how is he top 3 QB?.  mvp awards?   SB win?  Heck, SB appearance?   Right now, and that’s what matters, in the last 6 quarters he is bad.  If he has 2 more bad quarters, sit him for one to reset him.  He can be a top 3 QB, but right now he’s not

Dude Allen is the offense without him this team is the Detroit lions

The Jets are a good team.  They have a top defense and a good run game, and they won 4 in a row when their QB wasn't making mistakes.

They really wanted this, and it showed.

Agreed.  And on the bolded...the Bills need to start to show that because most if not all teams left on the schedule will want to knock us down a peg.

“Because he doesn’t have a Super Bowl win he’s not a superstar and should be benched after a game and a half of meh play”

Do you see how insane this is?

do you see that’s NOT what I’m saying.  it would be 8 quarters at that point.  And I’m not saying bench him, I’m saying take him out for a quarter to reset if the first half bs Minny looks like his last 6 quarters.  Something is mentally off with him.

I know people don’t want to hear it or believe it but the defense, while not good, made the stop and forced the field goal with plenty of time remaining for Allen to at least get the team into field goal range….but, Josh Allen was horrible today, from start to finish. Let’s hope I never have to type that again.

He was causing them to run away from him, essentially taking away part of the field, do you get it now?

Well, I’ve been a Bills fan since 1971 so have a long history of expecting the worst…and today we certainly got that. Am I concerned? Absolutely. Other AFC contenders are heating up (including within our own division) while the Bills have been going backwards for 2 weeks. Yes, they beat GB but ffs the Pack are awful.

Best case, this a slap in the face wake up call that motivates them to get their heads out of their a$$es. How they respond next week at home against a very good Minn team will be very telling. If they lay another egg and fall to 6-3, well let’s just say that the “team chemistry” will be tested more than ever

I was impressed with the D stand at the 2 minute warning. That was a good stop and gave the offense a chance.

...after letting the Jets literally run rigjt over them with a drive starting at the 4yard line.  Yah they stopped them. But ever hear the expression.. too little too late. ??

Color me officially concerned about our inability to stop the run.   We had chances to win, the offense and Josh struggled.  But in a tie game, mid 4th quarter, the defense collapsed.
