Why?  They have the best roster in football.  They just need to execute and they are going to win the Super Bowl.

I don’t think the Bills are going to respond with a move just because the Eagles did. The Bills are good to great at every point on the roster except offensive guard and even there they are decent.

The Bills are all in on their chase for a Super Bowl this year and although given their limited cap space the Bills will have a hard time making moves if there is a move that can improve the roster I don’t see why they wouldn’t attempt to make it.

I wonder what’s the Bears reason for this. Pass rushers are tough to find. Given his trade history, I wonder if there are off the field issues.

New GM, HC, OC and DC.  Quinn is up in age and had another 2 years with big cap hits.

They will be a big player in the upcoming free agency market next year with well over $100M to spend.

If they feel Fields can develop, they sure can put a lot of help around him.  Maybe the Bears will get it right this time.

Great move with Barnett out

A rookie QB deal at $2.5M salary for this year will get that done for you !!!

Getting really interesting in Philly.  They certainly have built a formidable team.  Should be interesting to see who trips them up.

Typically, when you are in the playoffs, the experienced teams do much better.  However, this time the path in the NFC is real easy for good team.  In spite of the mediocrity,  the safe teams like the Rams and Bucs will be in the post season and the Eagles will have to overcome that experience.  Look at the Bills in the past 4 years:

Average Team went 10-6 with a soft schedule -  Knocked out in 1st round by Watson and Texans

Much better Team went 13-3 but couldn't get past Kansas City's experience (AFCC)

Even much better team, but a very tough schedule - Went 11-6 and were 13 seconds away from hosting the AFCC

The best team in the last four years with the best QB -  5-1 start....Let's see where it takes us....  Go Bills

This is what a team that is looking good does,  they get better.  I wish some people on this site would stop with we don't need to nothing,  the team needs a RB because no one on this team can pick up third and short

They don’t have QB cap hits coming up.

Ok, maybe we’ll get a RB before the deadline … not a lot of teams out of it though.  Josh Jacobs would be great, but the Raiders probably still feel they’ve got a shot with the ease of their schedule.

Can’t just make people trade us guys.

If Beane was going to make a big move, it would have already happened. I fully expect no moves to be made before the deadline. If the Bills had lots of cap room, maybe, but they don’t. We will ride with what we have.

Beane traded for Benjamin at the last hour so we cant write it off ...

Quinn is not the same player he was with the Rams. Still good but not like Von Miller.

Oh sheesh, is this the Bears Marcel Dareus trade?

Interesting that Von Miller and Marcel Dareus came up in this topic. Those players went 2 and 3 in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Other D-linemen taken in that same draft were Aldon Smith (7), JJ Watt (11), Nick Fairley (13), Robert Quinn (14), Ryan Kerrigan (16), Corey Liuget (18), Adrian Clayborn (20), Phil Taylor (21), Cam Jordan (24), Muhammad Wilkerson (30), and Cam Heyward (31). Other highly-regarded D-lineman taken in that draft were Jabaal Sheard (37), Da'Quan Bowers (51) and Jurrell Casey (77) making this is one of the greatest D-line drafts in NFL history.

The Bills have an excellent roster. They have to execute but they also have to avoid injury. Of course trading for depth would make them a bit more immune to injury.
