Do we all see what Daboll is able to do with a real NFL running back?

a large part of the issue is that they haven’t made it a priority in the draft.

As you mention I think everyone expects probably at least 3 day 1 and 2 o-lineman selected over the next two drafts as we start to make it a priority.

I think Poyer being so incredibly lights out plus Hyde’s serious neck injury mean they re-sign Poyer so that they can keep the focus on OL this draft.

So Dabs was killed here, often, about the lack of running game when he was out OC. Of course, he had Butterfingers Singles and Cement Block Moss at RB.

Now he goes to NY, and he gets a quality RB like Barkley (who isn’t even THAT quality considering his last few season after a great rookie campaign) and BAM. Leading rusher in the NFL. Career resurgence.

So maybe, just maybe, our lack of RB production wasn’t because of Daboll or Dorsey. And maybe our GM knows this which is why we have been dumping mid round picks to try to find SOMEONE decent at RB for the last 4 years.

he’s on pace to rush for 110yards today…and lose by 30.

Do we all see what happens when people like the OP doesn't understand different situations... best QB in the league vs Jones, I wonder why Barkely gets the touches?

Different O-Lines set up, one built for passing one built for Running.

It’s the offensive lines…we’ve been much worse in run blocking than the giants…Andrew Thomas has been insanely good

Kromer trying to get the Bills to be a zone blocking team...not going so well yet. However, most of it is small details screwing things up...at some point it will likely click for the players and we will see some improvement...my guess is by mid season

Let me ask you a question.

If you had Barkley and Jones as your two main offensive players, which player would YOU rather have with the ball in their hands?

Pretty sure if he has a QB like Allen the offense wouldn't be going through Barkley.

He is doing it out of necessity.

When will people understand the Bills simply pay lip service to the running game and then put the ball in Allen's hand?

You should change the title to "See what you do when you have a great RB and no QB?"

Why has Barkley sucked with no QB before?

And now he has 7 rushes for 55 yards lmao

thats why we don’t live in the moment

But you did that with this thread... not taking into account the variables Daboll has to work with.

Uh, he hasn't? Rookie year he rushed for over 1300 yards and 5.0 YPC, second year he had over 1000 yards and 4.6 YPC.

Then he got hurt early in the following year, came back the year after and wasn't right yet, like most players who have ACL injuries.

Now he is back to full strength with a good OC and is back to playing like his rookie year.

Stop trying to write a narrative to fit your opinion instead of seeing what's actually there.

He has the best YPC of his career, coming off the WORST YPC of his career. That’s Daboll

Partially. And partially he is fully healthy following the ACL. It's also a 4 game sample size, things can change.
