Doyle’s spot had to be filled and Benfors just had hand surgery. And even with a fully healthy Hyde and Poyer back there we’ve seen plenty of long 3rd down conversions over the years. There’s going to be growing pains anytime anyone new is worked in. The pass rush mostly covered up any possible mistakes the first couple weeks. Overall though as far as defense, the Miami game should be considered a success given the situation. I guess they could use Cam Lewis who never seems to be healthy anyways. Right now we have 3 total safeties on roster, and IMO Johnson really struggled last game. With a couple vets still on market (Landon Collins, Jaquiski Tartt, etc) it seems strange that it is being neglected. They gotta be close to having no funds left... Go Bills!!
