The scouts are basically the same protocol that you would use for an xray... AP and Lateral

can they still charge insurance for both?

Probably... But less need to move the patient... trauma protocol usually would be CT.

According to the Pro Football Docs, Jackson appeared to suffer a potential cervical spinous process fracture – aka a clay-shoveler's fracture – which could heal before the end of the regular season without surgery.

Most importantly, while gruesome, the injury carries no risk of associated spinal cord or head injuries. "

Hope you r correct but just as easily could be more serious.  Lot's of other cervical spine injuries possible.  Moving all 4 limbs is clearly positive.

Later if you are concerned about muscle or disc damage then possibly an MRI.
