Well at least until the Bills play someone from our conference if they continue to play like they did against the Rams the east is theirs beyond a doubt !!

And i can only imagine if they were just shaking off the rust against the Rams this is going to be a long season for all those on the Bills schedule but the proof will come when they play the Chiefs this D will have to come to play for sure against them & i think they will prove them selves to be the best !!

I think being on top of the division matters more after week 17 than week 1.

My reaction after watching that game is, when Tua attempts a long pass it takes forever to get there and Mac still can throw over the middle. Pass to Waddle was nice, but other than that Tua looks the same. Hills yards came on run after catch. Patriots are bad, before the season started I had them going 7-10, I think they will be lucky to win 7.

  • aristocrat changed the title to AFC East Division Race

Dolphins have a much tougher task than the Bills in week 2 going to Baltimore.

But beyond that can guarantee they are looking to make a statement against the Bills in a few weeks and would be in the division lead regardless of the outcomes of both teams respective games in week 2. If both teams are 2-0 and the Dolphins win they'd essentially have an early 2 game lead in the division because of head to head.

This doesn't make any sense, so if the Bills win and the Dolphins lose the Bills are in the lead, it doesn't matter that we played an NFC opponent overall record is checked first. Are they going to look to make a statement against the Bills, of course they are, they haven't won the last 7 games against us.

Barring injuries, Miami is making the playoffs. Not a real threat but they will have a decent season. The Pats are a dumpster fire and who cares about the Jets.

Not sure I see it tbh. Like us they have a tough schedule.  Bal, bills,Cincy next 3 weeks...losses I think. jets minny pitt...1 win. Maybe they also beat pitt. I think they're gonna hover around 7-8 wins

Still too early to write off the Pats. Remember they started 1-3 last year and rebounded to not only be in the division lead, but top seed in AFC in December before ultimtaely unraveling.

At this point though it's hard to bet against Miami given the weapons they have on both sides of the ball compared to the pats. And even if Tua isn't perfect (which he wasn't yesterday) they showed they might have the right formula to win a lot of games.
