LeGOATski
One of the keys to the Gabe Davis TD play is not to block downfield, right? If anyone blocks more than one yard downfield, it could be a penalty, if I'm not mistaken.
UKBillFan
On the INT, why didn’t he throw to the free guy on the 40? Just didn’t read the field quick enough, but very much in the moment. Stunning game, otherwise.
HankBulloughMellencamp
*subscribed* Excellent video breakdown of Josh's unique skill set by JT O'Sullivan, who had a cup of coffee or two in the league. At the 9:22 mark (deep shot to Gabe Davis), on the all-22 view take note of how well Singletary does his 1/11... GREAT job finding the pressure and saving Josh from taking a shot to the solar plexus upon releasing that one! Go Bills!

UKBillFan
The final play shown, the long touchdown to Diggs - Josh’s feet are not planted at point of release. He basically had very little support from his leg muscles; he was reliant on his arm and shoulder strength to get it that far. I shouldn’t be shocked yet still am. 1

SoCal Deek
I was at the game and for the first time in a long time sat about midway up in the end zone…where you can really see the field, and each play as it develops. The thing I noticed more than anything is that Josh was under very little pressure all night long. That was even made less of an issue when he was getting the ball out so quickly. I’d swear that on virtually every pass play he had his pick of open receivers to throw to. The short inside routes were like shooting fish in a barrel and just to keep the defense honest he’d fire a cannon shot on an outside route now and again. It looked like a video game.

nkreed
I like O'Sullivan's notice of the cancelled throw to Crowder on Allen's TD. It was assumed to be a pump fake, but it wasn't. If Josh threw the ball like he was going to, that was going to be intercepted and possibly a pick 6. Also I saw McKenzie's speed on the Diggs TD made him wide open. He stopped his route at the sticks and had a massive amount of space because the DBs back was to him. This deserve’s it’s own thread. King’s comments about that drive where the Bills were very deep on the Rams end are spot on. Definitely a “game within the game” observation that is outstanding.
Big Turk
I find it hilarious that other star players are enamored with Allen, other media people who have played in the NFL are enamored with Allen, the media in general is enamored with Allen, and then other teams message boards are like "I don't think he's that good." Hahahahaha. Keep believing that. 4 minutes ago, BuffaloBill said: This deserve’s it’s own thread. King’s comments about that drive where the Bills were very deep on the Rams end are spot on. Look at the destruction of teams during prime time games for the most part.

I mean, man, the toughness of those guys. He knew his assignment, saw the free runner, and stuck himself in there with power. It's interesting that when you're talking about winning your individual battle, for the defense a win is beating your man, but on offense winning is just getting a standoff. You don't have to pancake anyone, just stop what he's doing for a second or two. So, Motor had a clear win there, even though by the time Josh threw it the rusher had overpowered Singletary. Doesn't matter; he gave Josh all the time he needed. Supreme toughness. Edited September 10, 2022 by Shaw66 7 1
Nextmanup
One of my favorite moments is the back shoulder throw to Diggs. LOS = 28 yard line. Josh throws the ball when Diggs is barely 2 yards downfield at the 30. He catches the ball around the 38 yard line. Just perfect and fast timing and placement. 2
