Something I always see a lot of numbers people and stat-heads yap about is quantity... how many receptions for how many yards, etc. etc. They oughta mention quality as well. Some dudes end up with 100 receptions a year and 50 of them are five yard little dump-offs behind the line. Some guys might only have 65 receptions but like 10 of them went for TDs, 28 went for first downs, etc. I feel like that sometimes gets overlooked.

Context Baby.
Dawson became quite the player last season. With making high value plays and serous blocking in that same category ( red zone) but i have the senilities lol
I expect the trend to continue upward. especially with Rbs coming out of the back filed more under Dorsey ?

He had like 15 receptions in college and was a QB.

He changed his game and had only gotten better every year. I like his trajectory for only playing TE for 4 years.

Think about if allen went to a big school and had all the coaching and help that other qb's had as teens. He'd be in Cleveland right now.

A lot of money for a guy who has never caught more than 49 passes in a season.

This will pay him close to $300,000 per reception (based on last season).

Week 1

1 catch, 5 yards

Pegula likely calling Bank of America to cancel the check.

Gameplan tonight was to get the ball out quick to neutralize AD.  Easier said than done, obviously.

But that's why Knox was quiet, IMO. Lots of hitches and other quick stuff.  Knox hasn't really been that guy used in that way.

This is why we signed him before - already moved from 6th to 7th TE

17+ million a year for Waller

OMG, they're paying Waller $310,000 per reception based on last year which I see from earlier in this thread is way too much money!

Yep and if they waited until this off season it would have been 350,000+ per reception because they were bringing him back and the TE market is going up during and after this season.

Yep I hate this board after a loss.  All the trolls come out with their pitchforks.  This team has been a contender going on its 3rd season now and some trolls just wanna complain about everything.

I really thought Dawson would go off this year. Idk if it's the scheme or something else like his personal stuff but I hope he has a big game soon. I have faith the kid will turn it on this season.

IMO he’s been leaned on to help block due to RT issues.
