Crowder

Duke Johnson

Blackshear

would be all guys teams would give up a pick for imo

Read article the other day, stated how game started off with Digg,s Davis and McKenzie.  As soon as Diggs left he game Crowder took his spot and McKenzie moved outside and Crowder in slot.  Sounds like Crowder is their total #4 WR, so doubtful they'd let him go.

Agreed. Howard doesn’t seem to have risen in the depth chart. Cutting him would hurt a lot on the cap. The Giants TE group sucks. Call Dabs and make a deal!

May have a little more leverage here as Howard is likely a guy they either trade or keep as too costly to cut, so other teams can't take  position of, we'll just wait til they cut him, then get him for nothing.  So does give a bit of advantage where a guy like Haack, 31 other teams knew was being cut.

I’m saying Shaq. The D line is stacked, and he got a suspiciously high number of snaps vs. Denver. Could be they were marketing him for sale.

Was just going to say this.  Shaq is the 5th DE in my reckoning and if they think that there isn't much between him and Mike Love (Beach Boy),

then it's not a bad move.  Shaq (after the trade) is dirt cheap at $900k.  If there are needed DE teams, I think it could happen.

I'll throw out Howard.

As was mentioned in an article, he didn't start, it was Sweeney, Morris, and Gilliam to start the game on the 1st and believe into the 2nd drive.  Then Howard came in and played late into the game so wasn't like Von Miller deal in that we don't need to see what he can do.  His contract is such that not worth cutting him.

Suppose Epinesa, Lewis or McCloud wouldn't be bad names either, but would want at least a 4th for Epinesa

They did say Morris was faster than most of the receivers. I'm not that impressed with Howard, and I've held out hope for Sweeney. I think it's too soon to pull the trigger on O.J. but I'd like to keep Morris. He'll get poached from the P.S.

Poyer if they could get a 1st. Seattle gave the Jets 2x 1sts for Jamal Adams!!

Adams was a no.5 pick and lived up to the billing. We should pay Poyer....with nothing more than a big signing bonus. A 2 yr. deal would be ok, but he ain't Derwin James.

In all of the “trade Moss” suggestions here nobody has mentioned how his pass protection is the best out of the RB room.  For that reason alone I think he’s a lock.   Trade Duke if you can get anything for him.  Blackshear, try and get him on the PS if you can (unless they carry four RB’s).

I agree, Love is a penetrator.  Shaq is not. I had high hopes thinking he would play like his hair's on fire, but the end results just don't seem to be there.....plus how many DL can we roll with?

I respectfully disagree that they've been showcasing Moss for a trade.

If you want to trade him, you give him a bunch of carries in the second half of games. You don't mix him in with the 1st and 2nd units in camp and preseason, and you don't give him repeated goal line carries.

Further, Moss offers power and short yardage/goal line ability that no one else on the roster has. Blacksheer and Johnson are both more similar to Singletary and Cook. No one else has what Moss has, unless they want to make Gilliam the full time short yardage back.

All signs point to Singletary, Moss, Cook and Jones being the RB foursome that the Bills roll with this year.

Actually, that's exactly what you would do.  If anyone is going to offer Beane anything worth him considering they will want to see that Moss can run with the starters.  Beane won't care about getting a 6th or 7th for Moss, he would likely keep him during a SB run for that cheap.  But a 5th I think gets him at least thinking about it, but a 4th would probably do the trick.  But to get anyone to offer a 4th, or even a 5th, they need to see something good from him after last year.

Also, Devin with his low center of gravity, better vision, better explosion into the hole has been the better short yardage back than Moss so far.  People forget how much power Devin runs with; he frequently carries the pile forward.  And don't forget about Josh in those situations too.

Getting back to Moss, I am not saying he is for sure trying to get offers on Moss, but I mentioned this after the first preseason game as a possibility.  It's what they did do with Sammy too and some others before.  But make no mistake about it, Devin is the feature runner this year.  So, if they feel Cook can also spell Devin in the run game and not just be a pass catching specialist, then that will open the door for a Moss trade if they get an offer they like.

Also, the only significant buzz of boost of confidence in Moss of relevance I saw was also Beane talking him up.  Again, something a GM would do to get people to make inquiries.  Everyone in the league knows we have Devin and drafted Cook.  If an injury happens or they are looking for some help at RB, Bills are a team likely to get a call with 3 guys that can play a significant role in an offense.

I definitely don't think Beane is interested in cutting him or giving him away cheap...so it would take a reasonable offer, probably a fourth if I had to guess before Beane got serious about trading him.

I think Moss has value in a trade, but I really don't want to part with him.  He's the one RB who can really play the physical punisher role in short yardage, and he's underrated as a pass catcher by fans.

I'd love it if they could get something, anything for OJ Howard.  Same goes with Duke Johnson.

he was one of the best RB in the NFL in pass pro too in 2020 or 2021....

Right, he's not those guys that's why we would only get 1 first round pick rather than 2.  He's an ALL-PRO and he wants a big money deal.  You can't afford to pay everyone and we have great depth at safety.  It would be a shocker but if they know they can't sign him after this year then it's worth it to get something

That was a crazy trade for Adams. I think Adams is a great player and was happy to see him leave the AFC East but they gave up a lot for him and that contract they gave  him was wild. He has been hurt alot also.

I don't understand why they gave Gilliam a new deal. Moss is better. Is it a ST thing?

They play different positions.  Gilliam is a fullback (blocking back) who also plays tight end.  Moss is a running back (halfback).  Gilliam is 3 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier than Moss.

There's no way in Hell they get a decent pick for him. Teams will wait for him to walk.

Crowder.  Shakir is too good to keep off the field.  Crowder is 5th WR at best.  Crowder would probably start on a lot of teams.

Washington or Carolina for a 4th....conditional 3rd. Either could use him especially Baker.
