I could entirely be wrong, but I didn't think the problem was usually Ford not knowing his assignment. He just had sloppy technique with his hands and slow feet, so he got beat regularly. I have been thinking Beane was over-egging it saying he might need to make a move but it is because I forgot about the PS. He repeated again yesterday that he would likely do a restructure, but even in addition the trade OJ Howard option must be intriguing to them. I wonder if they have made some calls? Even if you only got a 7th back as a salary cap dump for a guy who has underwhelmed it makes some sense.
