Williams scored 2 TDs vs the Miami Dolphins who were fighting for their playoff lives and no one poached him from the squad. He looked good in PS too. I can’t even remember his first name. Also, faking injuries to stash a player also results in no practice time, which a player in those stages desperately need. I don’t think that actually happens in the NFL. Lol see Stevenson, Marquez 😆😆

Scott7975
I think the only way Blackshear makes the team is if he becomes the kick return specialist or something like that. Barring that there is just no room. He might be a trade candadite. I don't think he would sneak on the practice squad though. He is playing well enough that some team would claim him on waivers (please not the Pats.)

You feel the burst, whether it’s in the return game or when he’s carrying the ball on offense or catching the ball out of the backfield. He plays his role.” He has the potential to be a very special player. I like Singeltary & Moss as good, steady RB's. But they don't have super-star potential. Neither of them has showed that in their careers with the Bills. Blackshear has that potential! love your stupid threads. Mark Vader
I think Blackshear gets a mysterious injury and goes on IR. 1 1

But he is not unseating Motor, Moss, Cook, or Gilliam, they are stone cold locks (Gilliam, IMNSHO, is the new Pat DiMarco - he's got pictures). That means unless Blackshear shows uncanny abilities as a gunner, he's not unseating Formosa. McChoke will not carry 6 RB's (barring mental infirmity), so Blackshear is PS at best. Which sucks, he's got more heart and guts than most of this roster. I want this guy on my team, just don't know how it's gonna happen. BlacksHEART! I wanna know why Moss is an absolute lock I don’t think I agree with that his injuries over the last two years I would think would put him on the bubble I actually think it would make him a great trade candidate because he is a no-name with a very affordable contract Edited August 21, 2022 by John from Riverside
Shortchaz
One thing I noticed during the broadcast is singletary and moss are only 24 years old (both turn 25 during the season). Coupled with cook (23 this season) that’s a pretty solid young group.

MAJBobby
He either unseats Jones with his ST ability of he is in the PS.
DapperCam
He’ll be on the practice squad, and hopefully he doesn’t get poached. He’ll get his chance if there are injuries this year, or next year after Singletary leaves.

In that case, you have to trade Moss to have Blackshear on the 53. Possible, but unlikely. IR candidate? I like that Cook and Johnson are getting reps on kick returns. Blackshear is impressive, and Taiwan is what,34? I don't see them keeping on the 53.
cwater10
He's had a really nice camp, no doubt. But still, as counterintuitive as it feels, it is no longer necessary or productive to think like 2013 Bills fans. You don't go to or win Super Bowls by entertaining a bad case of FOMO over fringe roster players. If he is picked up by the Dolphins, Pats or Chiefs, so be it and so what? Do you really think that Frazier will stop game planning around Tyreek Hill, Damien Harris or Travis Kelce and lose sleep over Raheem Blackshear? I don't. Let any of them try to beat this defense with Blackshear. That will work out quite well at One Bills Drive. Enjoy the penthouse view while we are here. All who pass through do not get to stay... 2

There’s no good reason for Taiwan to make the team over Blackshear. Taiwan Jones is one of the best special teams players in the league. It’s not a matter of simply “working as a gunner in practices”.

BuffaloRebound
Bass and Araiza both have the legs to basically eliminate punt and kick coverage if they wanted to. And in regards to our return units, just take a knee/fair catch and give the ball to our offense. I’d much rather try to sneak our core special teamers through the practice squad. Brandon
He's made a good case for himself to this point. At the same time, it seems like there's always one of these guys in preseason and rarely do they make it. This year is going to be especially difficult and most likely, I think he ends up on the practice squad.
