We are paying almost double it is why Buffalo can’t have nice things why Key Bank Center was built on the cheap and now is a dump. So no Buffalo Bills dome stadium or renovate Buffalo Sabres Key Bank Center or UB Stadium renovating for the UB Bulls. But we get to keep the Buffalo Bills and our politicians are lining there pockets with campaign contributions and money kick backs in my opinion. Go Bills! The stadium that they are basing this on Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London cost 1.2 Billion US dollars in 2016 with pre-pandemic cost for Steel, Gas, and electrical components. The Stadium here is expected to be nicer, slightly taller, and have more weather protection because it not protected by the city, but the cost over 6 years later is 200,000 more - even factoring in the pandemic rise. It does not sound like huge corruption - it sounds just about right based upon other builds of this stadium - especially with the technology they want for protecting and growing a grass field in this climate in winter. The comment about being corrupt compared to Tennessee is laughable - Nashville can do what they are doing because they have a growing population and they actively chose not to invest in many things NYS invests in - like schooling. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
