One of the host then mentioned Bill Russell and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as a counter point. Little to no relevance but a little nugget. RIP to a legendary player. The Hall of Famer was 88. Russell died "peacefully" with his wife, Jeannine, at his side, a statement posted on social media read.
