They had a great run going to the SCF 3 straight times and winning 2 Cups. But there are only 3 dynasties in hockey. The Canadiens, Islanders, and Oilers. BillsFan4 Posted June 27, 2022 Share Posted June 27, 2022 Congrats Colorado on a well deserved win! After the first period colorado just took the game over. It looked like they just wanted it more. I think they can held Tampa to no shots on net for most of the 3rd period (when they were down by a goal). I’m happy for MacKinnon, Landeskog, Cogliano, Johnson, Johnson and all the other vets on that team that put their time in. Always happy to see 9-10+yr vets win their 1st cup! Bummed that hockey is officially over now. At least we have the draft coming up. Then football training camps start. T&C Posted June 27, 2022 Author Share Posted June 27, 2022 Then there was this, Stamkos shooting the puck at the official: Under the current NHL Rules Stamkos should face a lengthy suspension for this. 40.4 Automatic Suspension – Category III – Any player who, by his actions, physically demeans an official or physically threatens an official by (but not limited to) throwing a stick or any other piece of equipment or object at or in the general direction of an official, shooting the puck at or in the general direction of an official, spitting at or in the general direction of an official, or who deliberately applies physical force to an official solely for the purpose of getting free of such an official during or immediately following an altercation shall be suspended for not less than three (3) games.
