Do think Jackson played better than many expected. Also do think the Bills will draft a CB in the 1st round and will still sign a mid level FA CB in case White isn't ready or close to 100% Sept 1st. That's the one outlier here not knowing how/when White will be back playing a high level. But overall agree, we're not in as bad shape as some seem to think. Tre White will probably miss some games at the beginning of the season. For sure CB is a big priority right now. But McDermott likes to make it work with value signings and draft picks. Jones the run stuffing 1-Tech, Settle has some pass rush juice and can play the 1-Tech or 3-Tech, and now we bring back Phillips who got a lot of pressure from the interior as well. Again Dane Jackson filled in very well. They need to replace Wallace. I’m pretty sure we’ll see a veteran CB signed soon plus a draft pick or 2. Aside from the fact that 1) we needed a CB going into the draft, and with Wallace leaving we now need 2, and 2) with Tre's knee injury there's no telling when he'll round back into form... the post was meant to be completely tongue-in-cheek... thus the smiley emoji. But yeah, still need CB help and we'll see how it goes depending which way Bills approach draft. Not sure they take a CB in first round or WR, but think it will be one of those 2 positions for 1st pick... Lots can change between now and then though so we'll see.
