The team does not dispute that Dalrymple used his security key card access to enter the cheerleaders' locker room while the women were changing clothes. The Cowboys also issued Dalrymple a formal written warning in October 2015, a person familiar with the matter told ESPN. The team declined to share a copy of that warning or detail other information, including time-stamped data from surveillance cameras or security key cards, that would show precisely when Dalrymple entered and left the dressing room. Even more inexplicably (or less explicably, I suppose), the NFL apparently will get away with this deliberate failure to care about a significant incident of alleged misconduct. I say “alleged” because the team’s investigation found no wrongdoing. Even though the team paid $2.4 million to resolve the allegations. This is predatory behavior and if left unchecked it could result in something else that’s progressively worse. I’m glad the cheerleaders are getting a fat payout though $$$$$. That is probably part of reason for payment. Police usually do not investigate non-violent crimes like this unless person or persons file complaint. The Jills got treated like 3rd world laborers. Not sure the Jills were working to get minimum wage. Although they should have at least gotten that by default just as a base. Its the same reason the super bowl half time performers don't get paid. Its not treating them as 3rd world laborers, although some will frame it as such. It is realizing there is implicit value beyond a base pay that they receive. You'll call it BS, but there is a reason why they wanted to do it. They were building their own brands.
