It is true that her voting record is good.

But the conservative woman who will replace her will also have a strong conservative record,

But without the Beltway baggage and near fanatical Trump derangement of Liz.

.

Yeah, just what we need, another GQP trumper that would allow the orange menace to getaway with anything and everything, turning a blind eye to evidence.

So even though she votes with the GOP 99% of the time, she's not good enough because she doesn't worship Trump and Trump doesn't like her.

That's basically what you're saying, and it's exactly @Jackalope89's point.  Liz Cheney fails the Trumper Purity Test, and therefore has to go.  Even though she supports 99% of what the GOP does.

It’s because the GOP only cares about the culture war, which boils down to: is there a slice of air between your mouth and Trump’s ass? If so, you’re out of line and it’s time to go.

Liz Cheney Just Got the Endorsement She Needs (Try Not to Laugh Too Hard)

by Nick Arama

As we’ve reported, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is in deep trouble in her primary on August 16. She’s 30 points behind her Trump-endorsed challenger, Harriet Hageman. She’s about to get wiped out by historic proportions, by all accounts. But she does have some Democrats coming out trying to cover her action. She just got an endorsement that’s sure to put her over the top now — disgraced former Democratic senator Al Franken. [Tweet] I’ll leave the door open to the possibility that this is an attempt at comedy since that’s what Franken is allegedly doing now, since the groping scandal and leaving the Senate.

Because letting the Democrats drag you around thru the January 6th b.s. to be some fake bi-partisan symbol for it in order to give it credibility, is enough to say "gtfo."

Full stop.

The January 6th hearings are not just about Trump.  From the onset the goal was to cast every Trump voter as a traitor complicit in a coup.

It is without question the most Un-American political stunt in the history of this country - it has zero intention nor desire of seeking "the truth" of what actually happened that day.

But where you stand on the Democrats reaction to that mass trespassing event that they've lied about - and most likely set up in order to happen - is a massive litmus test.

We don't stand with protecting Trump on January 6th.  We stand for unconscionable smearing by the media and Democrats of every single Trump voter in its aftermath:

He's always right - and Fried's response to DeSantis comments on what happened is proof that's exactly been the point:

DeSantis slams Jan. 6 commemoration as way to ‘smear’ Trump supporters

...In his Thursday remarks, DeSantis said those who entered the Capitol should be held “accountable,” but he criticized those who compared the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks to the Jan. 6 riots, saying it was “an insult to the people going into those buildings.”

DeSantis made his comments shortly before President Joe Biden sharply rebuked the violence that occurred and said that Trump bears “singular responsibility” for the attacks. Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, a Democrat challenging DeSantis in 2022, said the governor’s comments on Jan. 6 were reasons “why the governor of Florida shouldn’t be the governor of Florida anymore.”

Pennsylvania Democrat John Fetterman finally “returned” to the campaign trail after ignoring his doctor for years and suffering a massive stroke. That “return” looked a lot like box-checking for the senate candidate, though.

In what was obviously a tightly controlled environment, Fetterman only appeared for 11 minutes, wearing a hoodie in summer weather and being backed up by his wife. Now, the first footage of the event has been revealed, and it shows a man who is not alright.

FTA:

It would be very easy to say that this is simply a matter of pro-Trump versus anti-Trump and to claim that Trump is still clearly running the party at the base level. But there is something else that needs to be taken into account here. And, it’s something that even CNN has picked up on.

Yet here in Wyoming, Hageman is seen as far more than Trump’s hand-picked candidate.

She grew up on her family’s small ranch near Fort Laramie, population 207, not far from the state’s border with Nebraska. Long before her fight with Cheney, Hageman gained prominence as a natural resources attorney, specializing on cases protecting the state’s water, public lands and agriculture.

Hageman declined to answer questions when CNN caught up with her in Rock Springs, a coal mining town in the southwestern part of the state, saying only: “This race is about Wyoming, nothing else.”

The race, of course, has become about far more. But several Wyoming voters this week said they appreciated the attention Hageman was devoting to energy, agriculture and other issues of direct importance to the state.

Liz Cheney has focused entirely on Washington D.C. and, as a result, she has lost the ability to connect with her voters, and Hageman has a long history of working on the issues important to Wyoming voters. She has been on the ground in the state while Cheney has been preaching in prime time television that the person 70 percent of the state voted for was a bad person and that Republicans supporting him were also bad. Meanwhile, Hageman has made this about her state.

So-called “moderate” Republicans have constantly made this mistake. Cheney undoubtedly wants to be re-elected, thinking she is doing the right thing by going after Trump (we can argue if doing so is, in fact, the right thing some other time). But, the problem is that in attacking Trump, she is attacking the voters of her state. The people of Wyoming don’t like the implication that they are a threat to democracy if they support Trump.

Awww, look at this. A picture of a bunch of people stumping for Liz Cheney in Wyoming. Surely even they know that it’s important for Wyomingites to be out there knocking on doors for Liz, right? That to bring a bunch of people from say, California, Minnesota, Florida, and Texas (Austin) who self-identify as former GOP’rs would only prove Liz is completely out of touch with her state and her party.

Right? Surely they wouldn’t be THAT stupid.

Gosh, golly, gee. They are that stupid.

Sure, sending someone from CA to talk to a Wyomingite about Liz Cheney is SUPER smart. Like, totally.

We have yet to see any single one of them identify as being from Wyoming and in fact, when this editor pointed this out to one of them, he magically got rid of his location and removed ‘ex-GOP’ from his bio. Now, why oh why would he do that?

seeing as liz still thinks the war her daddy lied about in iraq was a good idea to this day. she's always been a old establishment warhawk like many others in congress. so i guess id take culture over real any day. far less deaths of innocents so far. that used to be important to libs but it seems if that role has shifted as many others in politics. its like that same criteria is as important to libs hating canidates. so two sides of a coin. either way she got destroyed tonight so we will see what happens. hopefully wyoming sees a brighter future with someone who represents them well. i think thats the end goal that is far more important then slices of air. lol. that is a good one tho.
