Statistically we despareatly need home field advantage and #1 seed. Each game in regular season matters indeed.

Context matters. But yes getting the Chiefs or anyone else to come to Buffalo should be the goal next year. Can't have Jacksonville games next year.

Sigh, this again.  Ok, let's break it down.

Loss 1 - Overachieving season with Tyrod Taylor at QB.  We weren't even supposed to be there.

Loss 2 - Another overachieving season, still rebuilding, with a "not yet good" Josh Allen, and pre-Diggs.  Got screwed by refball in OT.  Backbreaking penalty against Bills ends up being used as example of the definition of a legal play.

Loss 3 - Battered and bruised AFC championship game.  WR corps were a walking MASH ward playing with all manner of injuries including fractured bones.

Loss 4 - Legendary slugfest against another offensive juggernaut in what was expected to be a close game, regardless of venue.  Bad defensive playcalling at end of game leads to getting screwed by outdated OT rules (coin flip).

Win 1 and 2 - Still figuring out this whole "being good" thing, squeeking by good teams with flaws.

Win 3 - Absolute roflstomp on a highly overrated team we already stomped the month before.  Narrative in this game was more about the false narratives about our team coming INTO this game.

Sure playing at home would be nice, but clearly you seem to be the type who only reads headlines and box scores, and doesn't read the whole article to get the context.

I watched all these games. But these polar stats tell more than your thousand words.

What I was going to say these games need to be taken in context heck two losses where on the road and where in overtime

One was a one possession game in Jacksonville

Not to mention that kickoff thing where they just didn't down the ball...

well with those home vs away stats i guess we shouldnt have f'd around during the season and lost a few games that should have been absolute wins.

i remember some peeps on here telling me to calm down during one of the tire fire games against a crap team where we lost,  and i replied,  hey,  do u want to play the Chefs in Arrowhead in January?    i was told,   dont worry bout it,  everything will work out,  Chefs are bad,  etc etc etc.

here we sit.

next season,  dominate every friggen game like its your last.   youre playing for home field advantage.    we dont want to go to Arrowhead again.

I'll condense all of this.  He's blown two of four road playoff games.  Games that we should have won but that we screwed up.  There we have it.

Disagree about Houston. Allen threw three passes that should have been easy picks but were dropped. He did not play well and the Bills were lucky to get to OT.

Sorry.  I can’t go there.  We should have closed the door.  We blew a 16-0 halftime lead (IIRC).  I get the Duke drop at the end of the first half, and the bogus call on the kickoff to start the second half, and that those things should have put it away. But the D should have bagged that thing.  And it didn’t.

I'd argue three chokes, since we kept punting against JAX instead of going for it.

For sure,  defence gave up leads in last 3 games.  The game on Sunday was fine line between choke job and just stupid coaching,  the whole country was laughing at how Bills decided to defend those last two passes.

Sure playing at home would be nice, but clearly you seem to be the type who only reads headlines and box scores, and doesn't read the whole article to get the context.

L1 - vs Blake Bortles Jaguars, he threw for under 100, Fournette ran 21 for 57, and McDermott's odd obsession with one of the worst QBs in history continued as he plugged Peterman in who threw a pick on only 3 passes.  10-3 loss.

L2 - Bills had the game solidly in hand at half time,  winning 16-0 in dominant fashion.  He then got insanely over the top conservative,  packed the offense in, played for FGs and the Bills squandered the game away getting outscored 19-3 in the second half before losing in OT.

L3 - We go up 9-0, McDermott again is too conservative on offense... down 21-9 we kicked a FG from the 2 yard line! Down 24-12 we kick a FG from the 8! Horrendous defensive strategy letting Kelce/Hill run free all game with zero adjustments made, so bad the commentators were calling the Bills out circling the screen all game saying well no one on Kelce again this is going to him you can't do this... Hill had 172 yards, Kelce had 13/118... the rest of the KC team had 35 yards... no adjustments made just plain vanilla, sit and watch get shredded as we kick two FGs from KC 2 and 8 squandering a 9-0 head start.

L4 - Historic coaching collapse in final 13 seconds wastes one of the greatest QB postseason in the history of the NFL.

In each and every one of these games the Bills had the lead and pissed the game away. The lead in every game.

Even a second year QB made enough plays top win and there was Frazier and his bend but don't break defence choking it away yet again.
