You mean THE PAY SITE buffalonews.com?

Yeah, sorry, not going to pay to read it... you want to pay for a subscription for me?

You wont pay for a newspaper but you think a bunch of tax payers or others should pay extra billions so you can have your Christmas gift downtown?

Great news!!! Now let's hope it is a downtown stadium that will be the centerpiece of a great revitalization effort. I'm rooting for the downtown site 1,000%... Pittsburgh nailed it, and now it is time for Buffalo to do the same...

"This would be the largest development in the history of Buffalo, and would include a new stadium, convention center, updated arena, retail, hotels, and apartments. It’s everything that we have been hoping for, and everything that we have been waiting for. We’ve got an opportunity to rectify an injustice, when the Bills were moved out of Buffalo, similar to how the University was moved out of Buffalo. This is a once in a lifetime chance to do the right thing, which would change the face of Buffalo for the better. Not to mention kick starting a Metro Rail and train project that would coincide with the tremendous development."

It won't be. Why do people keep hyping this up when the Pegulas already said it will be in OP across from the old one and Hochul said wherever they want it is where it will be.

Totally agree!

It's the same crap thread after thread, everyplace that discusses it.  FFS people, please deal with reality.

I was at that Pittsburgh stadium a few months ago

It's nothing special and it did nothing for the city

Every mom and pop was basically closed in the city around the stadium lol it was dead

Yeah, you're wrong... talk about not living in reality! The economy of the Buffalo area isn't centered around Orchard Park, NY, FYI.

I live 40 minutes from there and it is not like that on gamedays... there is a lot around the stadium to do and eat and drink, including a casino which is new.

"Did nothing for the city"... is that from YouTube research?

It's actually been verified by multiple studies including the bills own stadium study

That NFL stadiums do not cause a massive uptick to an economy.. they said it would bring the same amount of impact as a new Target .. that is what the Bills stadium study said

It's not a city revitalizer

why are people still thinking it might be downtown?

The ones who are thinking/hoping it’s going to be downtown are the same ones who hate the idea of it being in OP but deep down they know that it’s going to be in OP. So pretty much it’s a denial phase lol

Buffalo really is a 3rd or 4th rate city. Can’t wait to get out of here again.

They spent thousands to evaluate the best location for a new stadium and the answer is across the street?! What are the odds, if they truly considered other options, that is true?

If there is any tax money used it shouldn’t be completely up to the Pegulas. I’d rather they spend an extra half a billion to build it downtown than waste the entire amount in the middle of nowhere.

Right?  Half the people want it downtown. More than half want a dome. Neither is happening. I guess a lot of people like setting themselves up for massive disappointment. Seems it would be less painful to stop banging one’s head against the wall.

PSE decided months ago they wanted it in OP.  It's not going downtown.

Yawn. Buffalo rising is a mouth piece for Rocco Termani. It ain't going to happen. Rocco should direct his efforts in remolding grain elevators.
