Altria, formerly Phillip Morris, has 3-4, top of the line Gulfstream jets at RIC.   The Marlboro man has been very, very good for them.

Fun fact.  Prior to marketing Marlboro cigarettes with The Marlboro Man they had aimed their campaign at women with the slogan Mild as May.  Same exact product.

Saw that on History channel the other day. Who knew that tough cowboy was wearing pantyhose beneath his chaps?

If you're going to eliminate tobacco, eliminate alcohol first...it's worse.

Problem is you can't eliminate either one.

Smoking will be gone when people are gone.

I agree it won't be completely gone but it's market may be ***** dead after a decade or two.

I actually met the real Marlboro Man (Darrell Winfield) back in 1979, when we had a field trip to Wyoming.

He was an actual cowboy, and scarier than sh*t to a bunch of teenage city boys.

A bunch of other actors were in the MM commercials over the years, but none of them could hold a candle to Mr. Winfield.
