Interesting they are the same age but Phillips has played 7 seasons but Zimmer only 4. guess Zimmer was one of these guys who'd make it to final cuts, then get let go, but he'd stick around and not give up. Looking at Pro Football Reference, don't know if they include practice squad years or not, maybe that explains the difference?
