Are there any other negatives about Josh that he hasn’t put to rest?

Must have been a part of Andy Read's master plan since he apparently never loses to teams in the playoffs that have already beat him in the regular season.

I don’t recall.

were there any Trick plays when they STOMPED the Pats?

other than Josh’s Magic of course.

Trickery is kind of a way for the desperate

No?   😆

And he'd have two if it wasn't for the slip against the Titans and the non pass interference call against Diggs in Tampa.  Even in Jacksonville for how poor we played if Gabriel Davis doesn't drop that ball we at least tie it.  These things have a way of evening out across a career.

That was on Dawkins, who got blowed up by Simmons.

Got a real kick out of this--I firmly believe it's the little things like this that help build the mutual trust and relationships between these guys which will help get us over the hump and into the Super Bowl this year...

Josh has proven that he is a great QB. He just needs to do it consistently like Brady, Rodgers. Of course winning a Lombardi will silence his worst critics.

Do me a small favor

Look up multiple 3 and 4 INT games by a QB

Never mind I’ll save time

Tom Brady threw his most interceptions in a game 6 times, with 4 interceptions.

Aaron Rodgers threw his most interceptions in a game 4 times, with 3 interceptions

It’s just not Josh’s personality to be anything but humble and work hard

but I’d love to see him develop the Rogers gene of being a little bit cocky to the people who took shots at him over the years

My goodness Mel Kiper kept saying Josh Allen over and over today he lets everyone know he was the guy telling everyone about Josh Allen

That’s all I keep hearing the pundits say, CONSISTENCY

Because it’s true. Allen still has to many bad games. He has to be good and win Super Bowls. Mahomes already has it, Allen needs to show it. Allen is a great QB but until he wins the big one, it’s all moot.

fair enough

But that applies to dozens of QB’s

Dozens of QBs aren't being touted as the best player in the league and having a higher ceiling than Patrick Mahomes.

We know what Josh is capable of, now he has to go out and prove it like the other greats.

Mel Kiper added 10 years to his  draftnik credibility with the Josh Allen stake in the ground!!

IMO, no matter what happens on Sunday Allen has already proven it.  Sure winning a Super Bowl is the final goal but given that this was only Allen's 4th season there is a lot of time left for him to win it all.

The fact remains that when Allen came to Buffalo as a rookie it was a team that was in a complete rebuild, particularly on the offense. It was a team that had only made the playoffs once in the previous 18 seasons and that was because of a fluke win by the Bengals.  The Bills were an organization that hadn't won a division title or a playoff game in over 20 years.  That first season for Allen was chaos and we shouldn't forget that.  And making matters even more challenging was that unlike almost every other QB drafted in the NFL Allen's path to the pros was unconventional and he was clearly still learning how to play the position.

Mahomes came into a much better situation then Allen did. And that's not to take anything away from the awesome career Mahomes is having.  But IMO it's unrealistic to put Allen & Mahomes on the same timeline when it comes to winning a Super Bowl

Beyond all the expectations of 2018, the Bills are now built for a long run as a top team in the NFL because we have the GM, Head Coach and most importantly the QB to do it. A SB will come and IMO it will be sooner rather then latter. But Allen has already cemented his position as one of the elite QB's in the NFL.

—Allen's film shows poor decisions and errant passes where the ball gets away from him.

—His subpar completion percentage (56 percent) can be attributed to poor decisions, passes thrown too hard, drops and plain misses.

—When Allen misses, he tends to miss big and often throws high on crossing routes.

—His footwork needs to be refined so that he's stepping into throws and aligning his lower body with his shoulders—an issue a lot of "arm" throwers have.

—He leaves a clean pocket too often (not trusting his offensive line) and will extend plays instead of throwing the ball away, which can lead to lost yards.

Allen is an extremely talented, highly-motivated kid, but he’s probably not prepared for what the NFL is going to do with him.

Sadly, Shady, we still have a slew of them right here.

New Rule; you dis Josh Allen, you’re banned to the Kiddy Table for a year, eg, you fail 2nd Grade.

That helped cause the slip.  Yes.  However, I think if Josh just took a deep breath and made sure his footing was firm before the snap he wouldn't have had a problem getting that half yard or whatever it was even with Dawkins being blown up.  Oh well.  On to Kansas City.
