Mayock is a clown.

Why do people keep going to the Patriots??? It was 90% Brady and 10% BB. Most players and almost all coaches that leave are failures.

That's incorrect. Coaching has caught up to Belicheat now, everyone does what Belicheat used to do more or less by himself (20 years ago.) Belicheat was the first coach that really tore apart film finding everything you need to know. Now, everyone does it and even got better at it than Belicheat.

No matter what though, Belicheat is a cheater. He ruined his career, imho..

Yeah, but he's a TV guy who actually got to make the picks and the results weren't that good. So how can you take him seriously?

He got a shot and proved he wasn't really.

I like his interviews with players and his personality during the draft. I think he has good evaluations of the player themselves, personalities, strengths and weaknesses, but at the same time, don't always agree with where he (or anyone else) ranks a player. Way better than Kiper in my opinion.

Derek Carr is the biggest thing holding the Raiders back. I don’t see how firing people fixes that. They’ll always be able to sneak into the playoffs with Carr, but will never be real contenders. He’s good enough to win, but not championship caliber. It’s a tough spot to be in, because the QB position could also be far worse.

Maybe Mayock will go back to mock drafts? I liked him there.....

Go Bills!

I liked him there, too. I can’t be too hard on him because we have ZERO idea what was going on behind closed doors. What was on Mayock, and what was on the crazy egomaniac Gruden? I had never heard the idea that Gruden got the first two rounds, then Mayock took over, but if that’s true it wouldn’t shock me.

I've always really liked Mike Mayock, I've always got the impression that he is a rational person.

I imagine a lot of his draft gaffs has a lot to do with Gruden and him being the primary decision maker.

Selfishly, I would love to see him back covering the draft on NFL Network alongside Daniel Jeremiah.
