Democracy’s Fiery Ordeal: The War in Ukraine 🇺🇦

Seems like the Russian withdrawal in Kherson is underway.

Ukraine is snapping up a lot of territory very quickly, without much reported fighting.

Edit:

Now there's lots of chatter from sources on both sides that, somehow, Russian forces weren't ready to pull out. Russian troops are jamming up the crossing points along the Dnipro River and that panic is taking hold.  Ukrainian forces are smashing crossing points with artillery, rockets and drones as they come into range to help things along.

We'll know what's what in the next couple of days.

Do we find out how iron clad Article 5 is?

Putin wants to use his nukes so bad....he needs to tell his peeps that countries of the west and nato are going to attack...giving him cause to unleash nukes. It appears clear to me. His cannot win a ground war, or air war and certainly not a naval war...

Pulling his troops out of key areas, firing another general to blame and now this.

Time is getting near for major decisions.

This missile in Poland thing should be very easy to figure out.

The only way for the Russians to gain momentum is through air power, and the Ukrainian air defense capability is currently very poor, so perhaps aid from the US and others will be in that area.

The Russians figured out within a couple weeks how to successfully jam drones, so that isn't a real threat to them either, unless changes are made.

Evidently, the life expectancy of a Ukrainian drone is about a week, so they are treated as munitions, not assets that last multiple missions.

NATO said Poland was hit by a Ukrainian missile that malfunctioned.

The real story took 18ish hours to figure out.

The real story is it only took 5 minutes for the war pigs confirmation bias driven thinking to declare article 5 should be invoked.  Maybe everyone should consider the reality that the people clamoring for WW3 are just as dangerous to world peace as the Russians?

Another developing story is the demoralization of Russian society following the retreat from Kherson.

This is their version of Fox News (or CNN). The level of stupidity is astounding, except for the one guy who has a lick of sense and gets shouted down:

And some gallows humor:

A small price to pay to destroy the Russian army, humiliate the Kremlin and reduce Russia to a backseat country without risking the lives of US soldiers.

Probably one of the best returns on investment we can get.

why don’t we get a nice little breakdown of where our dollars are going? Seems it’s the least we can ask for right?
