Matt Breida transforms our offense.

Honestly, why has it taken this dude 10 weeks to get on the field?

He’s an absolute weapon and a solid piece in passing and running. I saw several plays that Singletary got 4 on that Breida could have gotten 12 because of the difference in speed. Not to say Singletary had a bad game, he’s just limited.

Its time for 24 carries a game between the two of them for the rest of the year.

Singletary was solid and Breida was (and has been) great.

Pretty clear those two are our guys moving forward.

Moss will be the inactive back in case of injury.

That acceleration on the screen pass TD was a first down, at best, with any of our other backs.

Brenda gives our offense an additional weapon, but at 2.9 yards per carry, let's not get carried away. That is still a pedestrian performance.

Transform may not be the best description. Perhaps, an added wrinkle? We ran our base offense the majority of the game. Regardless, it was nice to see a burst and a RB that get some YAC- Breida had a nice TD and overall a solid game.

Brieda also shows the patience to see the holes develop and speed to hit them

and he drops at first contact usually. I did see one play where he shook off a tackler and was pretty amazed. It's a rare sight.

It's not rare at all. He does it every game. For all of his faults, I do appreciate Singletary's grit when taking on tacklers.

The difference is in acceleration after the handoff. He’s able to hit the hole, when it’s actually open, instead of being a step or two slower and missing it.

There was a run in 2nd half by Singletary to outside, thought if that were Breida running he may have got around the edge.
