Tre White knee injury UPDATE: Out for the Season Notification top of page 1

So since we won, everyone’s turned into a doctor in order to scratch their negative outlook itch instead?

1.  Stop diagnosing him, none of you are qualified.  It could be a number of things, including something that has him out for the year.  But let’s wait until we know before we make doom and gloom predictions.

2.  A lot of you under estimate Levi Wallace still.  He’s been very good this year, our cupboard is not totally bare where you can proclaim season over without Tre.  Dane has shown promise at times too.  We have an excellent safety duo still too and LBs who can cover.  It will suck if we lost Tre for the year, but doesn’t mean we cant still make a SB run.

Lol the community is back after a win against a garbage saints team

If they had won they’d have a winning record, and we’d be saying how gosh darn awful it is we can’t beat a team with a winning record.

Get out of here with that. We won. We are gearing up for a huge game against a division rival. We are fighting for first. If they didn’t live up to your regular season record that’s on you. All that matters is we make it and we keep winning. Everyone played well today. If you can’t enjoy that for a few days I feel sorry for you

If you think a 7th round pick from Pitt plus Levi Wallace is capable of holding the fort down enough to win a championship, I admire your optimism. Our CB depth blew before the Tre injury!

No it didn’t.  They chose to carry fewer CBs because the guys they kept are all capable.

And stop with his “7th round” nonsense. Where a player was selected literally has ZERO relevance on whether they can play.  Ask Tom Brady about that.  Or Kurt Warner.  Or Jason Peters.  Or Wyatt Teller.

Anytime a fan brings up a players draft slot it just tells me they don’t understand how meaningless draft position is once the draft is over.

I’m confused by your assumption that the Bills went light at the corner spot. The Bills secondary in total has a lot of depth IMO. Wallace has been a rock solid #2 and Johnson is one of the best nickel corners in the game. The safety duo of Poyer and Hyde might be the best in the league. How many teams have depth at the corner position?

Start of the year (before they brought up Cam Lewis) they carried Tre, Levi, Taron, and Dane. Siran would play in a pinch (like he did in the jags game when Taron went down. 4 true corners, only 3 of which are boundary corners is a bit thin at the position. You’d like to carry at least one more if you can, but they went heavier at WR and DL this year.

Of course no one can anticipate injury, but this Tre injury puts us in a spot from a talent and numbers perspective. Likely a PS elevation coming. Wonder if Wildgoose will be bummed he jumped to the jets when he did.

A few People keep calling it non-contact .. but by football definition I really wouldn't call it a non-contact injury

he was not running on air and collapsed.. he was playing physical man coverage down the field and had his hand on him

"A noncontact injury was defined as an ACL injury sustained by an athlete without extrinsic contact by another player or object on the field.” It is clear that any player contact, regardless of the body region, was classified as contact."

Did anyone make contact with his knee???  No.  Therefore it’s a non contact knee injury.

C’mon, man... no need to be picky..it’s pretty clear what everyone means by non contact....sheesh.

They're capable but the talent gap between White and Wallace/Jackson is significant.  There's no sugar coating it.  It's a huge loss.  Our defense will take a step back so we need Josh and the offense to take it to another level.

One silver lining here is outside of Tampa, the best WR we face down the stretch catches balls from Cam Newton (DJ Moore).

New England 2x

Carolina

Atlanta (lol)

Jets

Tampa

We can survive an extended absence in the regular season no question in my mind.  We can go 5-1 or 4-2 at worst and win the division.

The playoffs well we all know that's going to be a problem.  Let's get there first.

Prayers up for Tre.
