Sorry if this was already addressed but did Aaron Rogers forfeit last Sunday's game check due to missing a game due to being unvaccinated. Not sure what the NFL policy is regarding vaccinated vs unvaccinated players.

No, the game check forfeiture only occurs if the league is forced to cancel a game due to an outbreak of unvaccinated players

I'll answer as a general question (a Rodgers Q perhaps belongs in the Rodgers thread?).

Neither teams nor the NFL penalize players for getting sick with any disease (or injured).  The NFLPA would rightfully have a meltdown if they tried.  At the end of the day, the probabilities the NFL has observed are significantly lower, but a player could be vaccinated and follow all the protocols and miss a game due to Covid.

If the team or the NFL feels the player has violated its rules and protocols and that has led to them getting an illness, then that is addressed as a violation of rules.

What is really fascinating here is the HR implications.

Does the NFL just take the word of the player that they were vaccinated? Or like any other business that mandates vaccines, do they have to show their card? If so did Rodgers submit a fake card? Did the Packers just simply look the other way for the star QB, and put the rest of the players in jeopardy?

There is much more to this story.

When exactly did the Packers state he was vaccinated?  Sounds like they knew he wasn't but weren't going to come out and say we want to correct what Rodgers stated, if for no other reason they couldn't legally say anything.  From everything written yes the Packers did look the other way to some level.  Also think the Packers didn't want to make a contentious relationship any worse either.   Maybe the one thing Rodgers did tell the truth on is that the only rule he didn't follow was wearing a mask to press conferences, who knows.  Even so that was one thing they didn't then follow so they are guilty there.

Seems Beasley has been doing un masked PC's too.  Maybe that's just something all the teams are ignoring. Some folks think the PC's have been held outside, but others felt some were but others were inside.  Or maybe for all Beasley's ranting about this, he really is vaccinated, but he's just on a huge personal freedom rant.

I don't think they ever said he was vaccinated nor should they.  No organization is disclosing vaccination status.  However if they knew he was not vaccinated and they allowed him to not follow protocols, then the organization is complicit in putting the rest of the players and staff at risk.  It more than masks.  It's extra testing too.

So he either lied to the organization or the organization was complicit in the lie.  If he was doing the required testing then they presumably would not have been fined.

If not he should...this dude is simply a grade A douchebag. Thought it before this due to how he treats his family and he did nothing to dispel any of those thoughts with this, but only further enhanced them.

Douchebag is right.

He lied and said he was "immunized" when he was asked if he was vaccinated.  He never was.

Also his brother has come forward and said Aaron has not talked to his parents or brothers in years.

What kind of man does that ???

He followed all of the protocols as an unvaccinated player. He said the team knew his status.

He explained all of it on Pat Mcafee’s show.

I don’t agree with everything he said, but he made a few interesting points.

Still unsure why the OP cared enough about whether or not he got a game check to start an Aaron Rodgers game check thread on a Bills board, but, here we are.

Both Rodgers, the Packers, and the NFL have said they were aware of his vaccination status and he was following protocols (mostly) within the facility

He was fined for attending a team-sanctioned Halloween party with more than 3 players (that's against the protocols) etc.

Again, he and the team have said they knew his status and he was following protocols within the building, which would include daily testing.

The only people Rodgers lied to were the media and fans, and (possibly, some of) his sponsors.
