Week 10: Bills at Jets

After seeing comments from McD, Allen & others, I think I'd be genuinely shocked if Sunday's game isn't a blowout.

"Wake up call" is overused, but I think yesterday was exactly that.  They're not just getting a SB berth without some work.  This is a better team than the one that won for almost 3 months straight last year. They didn't just get bad all of a sudden.

Will Josh be recovered from his illness? If so, they'll put up 24+ and cover.  I am not backing off of this...Josh was sick yesterday even though they won't admit it. He was starting to get sick during the week (look at practice press Q&A from Thursday(?)), and was clearly under the weather in yesterday's post-game presser. I don't mean covid, I just mean regular old sick. He toughed it out and played through it because Mitch was out. If Mitch was available, I wonder if they would have made a change when it was clear that Josh was struggling.

Hopefully they can put  yesterday behind them and take out all of their frustrations on the Jets.

Probably has the COVID, I heard it is going around the QB room.

Living downstate listening to WFAN this afternoon. The afternoon guys (Carter/Evan) are lamenting the fact that Jets will be catching a very angry Bills team at the worst time.

I'm 50/50 about running down to Met Life Sunday and going. Would love nothing more than a Bills blowout to wash the stink of yesterday off ASAP, but laying an egg vs Jets will ruin me for weeks.

Jet D has some players. Offense better be ready. Fairly confident D will hold Jet Offense down.

It's called peaking which it looks like the Bills did before the bye week. This is also the time of year where separation starts and you see who is truly a contender and whose a pretender.

I've had a theory that the Chiefs could be their 'SB' in hindsight because of all the eggs put into that basket to beat a team that's having a down year and simply not that good. And they also played above their heads against an elite Titans game and I don't believe are going to mentally from that 4th down play.

Obviously still a lot of football left to be played but I think even if they beat the Jets this week it's not going to be easy or a blowout because this team has too many glaring flaws that have been exposed and aren't able to be fixed until the offseason. And what's really sad is the Jets have more wins over teams with a winning record than the Bills do. If anything don't be shocked if the Bills are blown off the field and last week wasn't even the low point of the season yet.
