What's also interesting is against KC, the offense looked completely different with the type of plays, etc then it did at any point this year. It's all very confusing. This is/was the top scoring offense in the league going into today, right? However I would argue the offense just hasn't looked/felt right all year. Something to keep in mind. 🙂 That is true but he also has only 4 receptions. They may have decided that Roberts wasn’t worth keeping around as a return specialist for the money he wanted but it doesn’t make sense when you then stop using an offensive weapon because you moved him into that role. I thought that McKenzie motion was a staple of the offense that just kinda went away and I didn't understand why. It's like Daboll's just let go of his creativity. Peak Qb play is a narcotic to OCs imo. They come up with all these check with me and routes. Basically, Allen here is a play do A vs B, C vs D, E vs G etc…. All good but 10 other guys gotta be on the same field and be on the same page. All the creativity to get an easy 10 yards are gone. Rodgers did this with Green bay for years with McCarthy. Bland play calls but more often than not he makes it work. Daboll is falling down that hole. Allen can do anything and make the should be bad plays good. Even if its just the window dressing, of him going in motion.
