I may get blasted for this but: I still believe Beasley gets traded today. Yes, he's good. However I feel like Davis is getting healthier, Knox is due back and Sweeney showed well. His production can be absorbed.  Beas is also nearing the end of his deal and I don't see them bringing him back at the price he may command.

If we can move him to help improve the pass rush or interior OL I believe it's a move you have to make.

No way.  We wouldn’t get more than a 5th round pick for him and Beane’s not interested in adding picks.  Also, JA would not be pleased…

That could happen but only because I think the rest of the WR stable is capable. You can move Davis outside and Sanders to the slot, and get the same production out of the group. Or you can keep Sanders on the outside and have McKenzie, Davis, Stevenson in the slot. I doubt Sweeney plays a role in this. He caught some passes, but he was not nearly as athletic as Knox. He was "capable" but a significant downgrade.

Why would the Bills dowgrade the one elite offensive group on the entire team (outside of qb, of course), especially when the team is built almost entirely around passing the ball? Beasley is a really good player.

There has to be a buyer. This particular slot receiver is very valuable to the Bills in their system.

If anyone else would really want him, it would likely be Belichick, lol.

There are plenty of teams that would move for slot help. Minnesota has looked for a WR3 for years now. Atlanta just lost it's best WR for mental health issues. Seattle, SF, heck the Rams. And that's just NFC teams off the top of my head.

If the Bills trade Beasley (which won't happen), the Bills will need slot help.

I don't want to trade Beasley unless the comp is ridiculous, but we could just slide Sanders into the slot.  Diggs-Sanders-Davis-Knox is still a really, really good group.

Right, I agree. I was just adding on to the poster I was quoted. I don't think he really goes anywhere, but it is an interesting trade piece to ponder because I think we could fill in the gaps if we HAD to and it meant upgrading the OL.

That'd be great if they gave up something of any value, but I bet any offers coming in for the Bills' 32 year old slot receiver are too low for Beane to consider. At this point, he's more valuable to the Bills than any other team.

Not a chance unless your goal is to rip apart a locker room.

That is a good move if you want to destroy our team. The team supports Cole. He's the best inside receiver in football and Josh trusts and loves him. He's going nowhere.
