Fitz is hurt rn but he loves Buffalo, he’s going to be the backup regardless if he’s in Buffalo or Washington and Washington gets a QB they can see if he can be their future. I'm sure that was the reason he was signed - the Bills were an erg or two away from losing Josh Allen for 3-4 games last season (and perhaps could have gotten better play from a good backup). We wound up splitting those games, 2-2. You want a backup who could at least do the same. The year the Eagles won the Superbowl, they had a good backup.
