Buffalo fans have an overt fascination with RB’s. Yes, over the years we have had some very special ones in Buffalo. This team, and the league, are designed differently. The offensive line is also not designed for a run first philosophy. This team will run enough to keep play action viable.  Other than that it is a run first philosophy.

If the Bills waste any draft capital on a RB, they are idiots. To the point made in the post above, if the Giants want to give us Barkley for a 7th I’d take him.

Why would it be unrealistic? He is due for a contract in 2 years, and they might not want to sign him to a new contract. It doesn’t hurt to ask. We are ready for a SB right now, and Saquon would be the missing piece. We can worry about the contract mess next year after we win the super bowl with him this year. It would be worth it.

It’s unrealistic. It just is.  Wait and see if it haplens

The fact this team keeps using Allen as a battery ram is going to absolutely come back to bite us. It’s ridiculous that the coaches are even doing it.

This is exactly the reality.  Enjoy it while JA is healthy.  The comments about trading Trubisky are laughable.

If we're living in fantasy land where Brandon Beane goes against his philosophy in not spending big money or draft picks on a RB - Saquon Barkley.

Though a more realistic move that i'd be pleased with would be Alexander Mattison.

Well at some point they have to pull the trigger to put us over the top. How much longer until we win a super bowl? This year, next year? When? At some point you have to make that one aggressive move to get another star player that puts us over the hump. The time is now.

Then blame Beane then, he brought these guys in, and has failed to draft competent Olinemen outside of Brown.

I do. Beane and coaching staff. It seems to me that they reward players not for their play but more so loyalty. Why can’t Bates get a chance to showcase his talent? Why is Vernon Butler still getting minutes? It’s okay to stay loyal to a person, but it’s also okay to be honest too

It’s bs though. Our OC should be on the hot seat because of it. Allen is being paid top money and being a battery ram is a terrible ROI plan. No more unnecessary Allen runs, this is precisely why we need to go after a Barkley.
