I actually picked him up in fantasy. It’s between him and Daniel Jones for me this week with Allen on a Bye. I just don’t trust the giants

I watched much of the Browns 2020 training camp video coverage (they showed team  portions but only between the tackles) because a local kid was trying to earn a roster spot again, TE Stephen Carlson.  I thought Keenum looked better than Baker in most practices but he had been with Stefanski before when they were with the Vikings.  I thought he used the TE group well and that helped Carlson show enough make the 53.  I suspect he'll get the ball out quicker than Baker tends to do.

Pro Football Reference has Chubb-Out but they have nothing about Hunt's game status on his calf.

FWIW.

Hunt is out, they put him on IR this week.  D'Ernest Johnson starts, with John Kelly, who was great in the preseason, as the backup, and Demetric Felton as a 3rd down/receiver.

Johnson has played pretty well when given the chance, he just get next to no carries with Chubb and Hunt in normally.

It's amazing how quickly injuries can derail a season. Count our blessings so far...

Particularly if it's the QB.  There are very few teams in the league, if any, which can absorb a QB going down and still save the season.

If it's more than a few games, forget it!

This will be an interesting test of the "running backs are a dime-a-dozen" and "running backs are fungible" theories.  Chubb and Hunt are the best 1-2 duo in the league.  We'll see what kind of dropoff occurs.

They have a bunch of injuries along the oline as well

Looks like not as much of a dropoff as people think.

Johnson looked pretty electric to me.

Man RB really arent what they used to be. Even Cook, when he went down and is arguably a top 3 RB, Mattison started for him and only had 180 total yds week 3. Yeh my sentence structure sucked there. Still drinking coffee.

Or could be that Johnson is a pretty good back as well.  Maybe better than what we have in our lineup

I think certain teams like the Vikings or Browns, who have a system in place to  run the ball, can put almost anyone back there and run it for about 100 any given sunday.
