@GunnerBill Obviously you disagree.  Lamar is the greatest thing ever when you post.  Here is something for you

Lamar holds the football the 3rd longest in the league out of 35 QBs.  Only Trey Lance and Zach Wilson hold the ball longer than Lamar.

Lamar is 9th least in aggressive % at 13.9. Meaning 86.1% of the time it is not a tight window throw.

Baltimore has 2 receivers in the top 9 of cushion space at the LoS.

Brown and Andrews have an average yards of separation at the time they catch the ball at 3.6 and 3.4.  By comparison when Diggs catches the ball he has an avg yards of separation of 2.4.

Mean a whole metric butt ton?  No.  You can see on TV how open Andrews and Brown get when they get the football.  They are open like Diggs was on that deep pass the other day almost every play.  When those too aren't then Lamar takes off running.  You can put a big red check mark on my post all you want.  Doesn't change the truth.

Is Lamar an amazing athlete?  Yes, he is.  Is he a great pocket passer?  No, he isn't.  Not terrible but not really anything better than average.  If teams didn't have to worry about the run so much Lamar would be bottom half of the league in passing IMO.

You keep saying its amazing what Lamar has done with all the injuries... big deal they lost some running backs on offense.  Lamar is the run threat that makes the run work with Roman's amazing schemes.

Lastly the NFL has proven for 3 years that teams that can take away Lamars running ability take away their offense.

This is probably not a stat you want to reference much.

Might want to check where Josh normally falls in this stat. (Hint, he was third last year)

It actually has been a pretty boring day of football. But watching on the Golf Course made up for it.

He has regressed every year. Thank god for that Running game otherwise they would be the same ole losing browns.

I don't know how you can say he regressed from 2019 to 2020.

2019- 6-10 record. 59 percent completion percentage. 22 TDs. 21 INTs. 78.8 QBR rating. Team didn't make the playoffs

2020- 11-5 record. 62 percent completion. 26 TDS. 8 INTs. 95 QBR. Team made Divisional game.

Sure the running game was better in 2020. But he was inarguably a better QB and every stat backs that up.

Just now, GunnerBill said:

Browns strengths are oline and running backs. Down their 3 best offensive tackles and now their 2 backs.... I mean if they are missing major time that is it Cleveland are done.

Basically this. Cleveland is missing a bunch of players here and have been down Landry for a quite a bit.

I think the Browns should trade him. Baker barely wants to throw the ball to him and when he does it goes poorly. It is just not working out.

I have said that since he was traded to Cleveland - there is something about Mayfield trying to get him the ball that messes with their offense.

Peoples-Jones makes play after play and Beckham talks a good game, but falls short time and again.
