Given the fluster over PB&J during the weather delay, what’s the proper amount of jelly?

  1. 1. How much jelly should be on a properly made PB&J?

  2. 2. As a second question - Peanut butter or Almond Butter for you?

Apparently, there was locker room debate over the proper amount of jelly. What do you have to say about this critical issue?

BTW if you have to have the crust cut off - leave this forum and turn in your Bills card immediately.

The real trick is putting the peanut butter on both sides of the bread, so the jelly doesn't bleed through.

The better question is, what kind of jelly?

If you say...

Grape- you probably are 8 years old and drink a Caprisun with it.

Strawberry- your favorite ice-cream is probably vanilla

Peach- you are a wreckless adventurer who enjoys living on the edge

Apple- you're a seriel killer

Apricot- wisest person in the room. Beane surely uses Apricot jelly

Marmalade?

Two parts PB to every one part jelly. Anyone who says otherwise is a communist.

Anyone grill it up or use toast? So good that way.

As a kid, I remember sitting around a bonfire and someone had one of those utensils that could toast a sandwich over a fire. They made us toasted PB and M&M sandwiches, which blew my mind. Since then, I've grilled the occasional PB and chocolate chip sandwich.

Strawberry jam (not jelly) is my favorite, with blueberry jam coming in second. Peach is fine, too. Grape jelly goes in the oriole feeder.

And for the record, my favorite ice cream is Death by Chocolate.
