Just get the majority in the Senate and House, and let those two fade away.

It's mostly all of them...since Leftists don't really comprehend basic rules of Economics.

But to answer your question, there are specifically THREE policies that have inarguably led to my likely conservative cost increase:

1)  All of the policies surrounding energy that have led to significantly higher natural gas and gasoline prices.  All of that is not free, it gets passed on...I know Leftists want to increase the price of Energy so that new Green-Energy sources make more sense (unfortunate that Greens/Leftists don't like Nuclear these days), but predictably they will hurt countless lives on their quest to get there...

2)  All of the policies that convince people that they don't have to work, and that the State will care for their livelihoods.  Yes, when the gov't shut down the economy to "stop the virus" (hilarious concept, BTW) they rightfully issued checks to those people whose lives they'd ruined...BUT, when the virus was a YEAR OLD, this idiotic "Administration" launched its "HISTORIC PANDEMIC RELIEF BILL of $1.9T" that was not necessary and really trapped citizens in a world of "I don't need to work because they're just sending me money".  Now they want to borrow more money just to hand it to citizens, absurd

Leftists won't understand this but excessive borrowing just means that IRs will remain low/zero forever, creating asset-price inflation that ultimately means your increased Transfer Payments aren't enough to actually buy a home, for instance, or afford the type of life you want to live.  This is most clearly demonstrated in the national housing market which is obviously pricing out those in the lower-income area (and no, more transfer payments won't help this)

3)  The arbitrary Minimum Wage hikes very clearly only add to inflationary pressures;  the market could/would/should force wages to rise in accordance with commensurate economic balance, but Leftist's don't understand this, and it will only hurt those they're trying to "help" as has occurred throughout all time.

Good post...and I agree- Leftists have MAJOR incentive to crash the economy...they only benefit when the country does poorly...

Copying and pasting is NOT the purpose of a message board. Try offering something of value, or a slightly well reasoned adult worthy opinion once in a while and you’ll watch my standard bored to death response change. Even Leftist economists tend to be Marx disciples who can’t explain American capitalist success or demise of several socialist and communist economies.

I’m just reading today a conflation of social democratic policies are behind the shipping disaster on the west coast. Mandates on obsoleting trucking fleets, outlawing un unionized owner operators, minimum wage floors and protracted unemployment subsidies have literally constrained the port capacity and rippled economic disaster across the country.

why dumb politicians who have never produced or delivered anything in their lives can insert themselves into real working value streams and destroy them in our society is baffling.

This is very interesting...it reminds me of how certain environmental policies in California have led to several power outages and wild fires...

It seems people are always having to lower their standards of living for Marxism to work...

Unfortunately, Joe Biden seems to have aligned himself with a philosophy that is sure to end in disaster, and bring down his presidency...this is also probably why he feels he has to resort to authoritarian tactics- because people don’t naturally want to go along with failing policies...

Similar issues with energy.  You can freeze to death feeling good about your turbines and solar panels or not with nuclear power and cleaner coal.  I know coal is dirty, but the reality is the US is not replacing its lost energy generation capacity with every decommissioned nuclear and coal plant, and it's going to start biting in ways people are really going to start feeling.

Nuclear and coal are the go-to sources of immediate supply to the grid in the winter when the need arises.  There are sometimes winters so cold that natural gas literally gets clogged in the pipes, so it can be as unreliable as the turbine or panel in the winter.

All this is generated by the fundamental and central belief of the Left.  That they, generally academic and Intellectual members of the political class, are morally, ethically, and intellectually superior to everyone else.  Important and trivial decisions and policies cannot be left to the simpletons and unwashed masses.

Curiously, while Marx wrote about the exploitation of the workers he never worked any such job in his lifetime.  All his insights and ideas were the result of subjective observation rather than personal experience.  Marx apparently believed work was beneath his station in life even through he had a wife and family that he refused to support which may have contributed to the death of some of his children.  Only when a rich benefactor from the upper class agreed to bankroll his writing and ideas did he provide for his family through this endowment.

Had never heard this before.. but yes apparently a deadbeat, adulterer, plagiarist, alcoholic, leech, conniver, racist and advocate of mass murder.

The icon of socialism was a total loser who used everyone around him for his own lazy subsistence.

38% sucks, he's approaching trump levels.

38% for Trump without the cheat probably 48%, for Biden, it's probably like 8%.

I know a lot of people, 38% of not are not that dumb.

billstime, tibs and governor are not 38% on here, yet by the topic and post

count you might think so. If you can go fraudulent on a national election,

polls are child's play.

It makes little difference, a few points here or there. When the Democrat is polling this poorly even with all of the built in bias and fingers on the scale, his goose is cooked, and this particular old man has neither the energy or political instincts to fix it. He’s done!
