Normally I just pick the closest one but with the expected delays from vax checks, maybe gate selection plays a bigger role. Appreciate any insight. The covid card check was prior to the metal detector and was super quick. The vax card is just a frickin' piece of cardstock. If they said you had to have scannable e-vax card that would be a different story but until further notice the lack of a vax card will only keep the very least resourceful people out of games.
