Things Matt Millen said today without context (not that it would help)

I thought it was cool when they showed McD's wrestling pics Millen said around that time his kids were into wrestling and they went and saw McD at some matches - then said after that he ended up following his career

"Do they even make fly paper anymore?"

"There's two ways to use speed. One is up and the other is across"

Called himself fat

asked if a dolphin had forward progress after it was clear they fumbled and

bills recovered so it didn't matter anymore.

Or….at least the Lions, which is pretty darn close!  :)

I actually pay far less attention to announcers than the typical viewer I have learned. I lean 70/30 to more annoyed than amused, but there was some of both. I said “worst NFL GM ever” multiple times today.

Cut the guy a little slack, he got hit in the head. A lot. For a long time.

Yeah probably since he was about 8.

That's a long road for a guy that played every snap of his life face first.

And yet he's a super fun announcer! Calls it the way he sees it. Love it.
