Why can't Tribisky be the holder on place kicks?

I don’t have a great answer for this in general. In addition to asking price there are a lot of comments on this board about how Bojo needed to go because of holding for Bass.

Is there really nobody else on the roster that we need to swap out our pretty productive punter? (That I wish was still here)

More options to score like the good old days.

Teams used to do that in the 90's or so, but switched the punter as holder since gives the backup QB more time to practice on offense. Otherwise, he would be working with special teams a lot. Besides, Bills punters have thrown special teams TD's in the past:

And also for a different Moorman to Denney TD pass [see 0:35]:

Read this and thought “hmmm, good question”… so I reached out to a Bears fan friend of mine- he never recalls him holding in Chicago (most of the time he was the starter, though)…. Then it dawned on me- Bojo held for us the last few years, and it’s almost always been our punter.  Didn’t Haack have some nice trick plays since he’s been in the league?

I remember the one against Seattle.  Denney made like he was running off the field before the snap and they ignored him.

Denney is a Mormon so that became known as the Moorman to Mormon connection

Moorman has a higher career passer rating than any Bills QB in history.

Didnt Moorman throw a TD on a similar play one year against Seattle to stay the season?

Because being a holder is a very precise science and I trust the guy who has done it all day every day for years over a guy who has never done it before.

You may remember Bojorquez, who practiced every day, costing us a few field goals last year because he faced the laces in instead of out.
